Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Fight For The Fallen 2023 special in Nashville, Tennessee featured three new matches announced and one updated match for the card of AEW’s All In event on August 27th at Wembley Stadium in London, England.
In regards to the new matches, the first new match announced is a Stadium Stampede match of Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, & Wheeler Yuta) & three mystery partners vs. The Lucha Brothers (Rey Fenix & Penta El Zero Miedo), Best Friends (Chuck Taylor, Trent Beretta, & Orange Cassidy), & Eddie Kingston.
This match was setup following Cassidy’s victory over Yuta to retain his AEW International Championship. Before Cassidy had a chance to celebrate, the Blackpool Combat Club attacked Cassidy resulting in the Best Friends coming out to save Cassidy. BCC and Best Friends then engaged in a brawl that resulted in the Lucha Bros also coming out to help out Best Friends and get revenge on the BCC over what happened to them last week. This brawl became ever larger following Eddie Kingston making his return to AEW and immediately started attacking Castagnoli. Kingston then grabbed a microphone and challenged BCC to a Stadium Stampede match with whoever they can find for their team against his team of everyone in the ring.
Eddie Kingston is back from Japan and has issued a challenge to the BCC…

The second new match announced is a Trios match of Bullet Club Gold (Juice Robinson & Jay White) & Konosuke Takeshita vs. The Golden Elite (Kenny Omega, Hangman Adam Page, & Kota Ibushi).
This match was setup following an interview segment held at Daily’s Place involving Jim Ross and Omega. After some harsh words by Omega about Don Callis, Callis interrupted and berated Omega. This led to Bullet Club Gold and Takeshita launching a surprise attack. In a follow-up segment, Page gave a promo he claimed was from outside a hospital saying that Omega was hospitalized over Callis’ group actions. Page then stated that he got a Trios match booked for All In between Bullet Club Gold & Taksehita and himself and Omega and revealed Kota Ibushi as their partner. Page was then yelled at by security guard for drinking beer outside of a “hospital.”

The third new match announced is a singles match of Will Ospreay vs. Chris Jericho.
This potential new match was setup following an in-ring segment involving Chris Jericho and Don Callis. Callis brought out Jericho to get his answer of if he would be joining his Don Callis Family. After some words, Jericho stated that he would which resulted in Callis saying that they were going to celebrate but wanted to quickly get out of the ring. Before they left the ring, Jericho stated that he wanted to see what new painting that Callis had covered up that was standing in the ring. Callis tried to persuade Jericho that it was not necessary to do so but Jericho ignored him and revealed that it was a painting of Callis holding up Jericho’s decapitated head. Jericho then demanded for an explanation from Callis over it. Callis revealed that he had expected Jericho to reject his offer because he is an egomaniac and after some insults filled banter between the two, Jericho put his hands on Callis leading to Konosuke running out and attacking Jericho. After Jericho managed to get the upper-hand, Ospreay made a surprise appearance and attacked Jericho. In a follow-up backstage segment, Jericho stated that if Ospreay wanted a match, all he had to do was just ask since they would have fought at the Tokyo Dome in 2012 if it was not for the COVID-19 pandemic and it will take more to stop them from facing off at All In.
