More on AEW’s Record Breaking Paid Attendance for All In
As noted before, AEW recently announced that this past Sunday’s All In event at Wembley Stadium in London, England broke the record for largest paid attendance for a wrestling event in wrestling history at 81,035.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources confirmed that AEW’s announced number for All In was the 100% legitimate paid attendance for the event. Unlike how WWE announces attendances for their events, Johnson reported that AEW did not include comp tickets or visitors or anyone else beyond paid tickets fans for their official announcement. The reason reportedly was due to AEW not wanting there to be any over-inflation of the number. During the post-show media scrum, Tony Khan stated that the total attendance for the event was around 90,000 when including comps and others.
