Ring of Honor held a new set of television tapings for ROH TV on Saturday at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut. This taping will be for the August 3rd episode of ROH TV.
This taping was held both before and after AEW’s Collision taping at the same venue that night.
In an interesting note, PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that Aussie Open were not announced as ROH World Tag Team Champions nor did they wear their tag titles for their tag team match at the tapings. Johnson reported that Aussie Open did have the ROH Tag Team titles display on the video screen for their entrance though. Aussie Open are currently scheduled to defend their ROH Tag Team titles at this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite 200 show in Tampa, Florida. It is currently not known if this is a sign that Aussie Open will be dropping their belts to El Hijo del Vikingo & Komander at AEW’s show or just simply AEW/ROH not wanting to spoil the results of that match ahead of time had Aussie Open wore their belts.
