AEW All In Ticket Sales Update – Over 70,000 Tickets Sold
As noted before, AEW has sold around 70,000 tickets for their All In event next month at Wembley Stadium in London, England as of earlier this month.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources stated that AEW has distrusted 76,929 tickets for their upcoming All In event as of this past Thursday. Meltzer reported that the breakdown is around 70,400 paid and the rest as comp tickets for a live gate revenue of around $9 million.
In regards to records, Meltzer reported that AEW’s upcoming event is now only around 3,780 tickets away from surpassing WWE’s WrestleMania 32 event for highest attendance ever for a paid wrestling event.
In regards to venue capacity, Meltzer reported that AEW still has around 10,896 tickets available for sale which would mean a current max capacity of around 87,825 for their event.
Update on RUSH Signing New Contract with AEW
As noted before, RUSH signed a new contract with AEW this past Monday to remain in the company for the foreseeable future. Prior to his signing, both AEW and WWE were interested in potentially signing RUSH to a new deal with AEW’s offer being for more money than WWE’s offer for a typical NXT developmental deal.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources stated that while RUSH’s original contract with AEW was only for one-year in length, his new contract is currently believed to be for multiple years in length.
In regards to WWE’s interest in RUSH, Meltzer reported that those spoken to stated that WWE officials were interested in potentially signing RUSH for their NXT developmental brand. WWE officials reportedly were also aware that they would have to offer him a monetary amount much larger than almost everyone else in NXT under the assumption that he would be getting a big offer from AEW.
WWE officials reportedly never made an official offer to RUSH once they learned of the monetary amount for AEW’s offer, which was described by one person in WWE as being “insane money.”
Brody King Comments on His Dream Match for AEW’s All In Event
ComicBook Nation held a recent interview with Brody King. One of the topics discussed included King’s thoughts on his choice of a dream match for House of Black at AEW’s upcoming All In event next month at Wembley Stadium in London, England.
“Is this a dream scenario, or is it in a trios? That question is hard. Are we talking within the realms of AEW? I think it would be stupid to not say CMFTR. They are the top dogs, and I am the dog.”
