Friday’s WWE SmackDown show in Lexington, Kentucky featured a #1 Contender Tag Team Gauntlet match for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship.
This match featured The Brawling Brutes, Street Profits, The O.C., LWO, Hit Row, and Pretty Deadly competing to determine who would be the next official challenger for Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn’s Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship.
The Brawling Brutes started off the match against Street Profits and proceed to defeat them, The O.C., LWO, and Hit Row all in a row until the final matchup with Pretty Deadly.
The finish to this match featured Elton Prince doing a blind tag to Kit Wilson right before Sheamus hit Wilson with a Celtic Cross for the non-legal pinfall attempt. Prince then hit Sheamus with a top rope leg drop and pinned him to win the match earning Pretty Deadly a guaranteed tag team titles shot against Owens and Zayn.
