Monday’s WWE RAW show in Savannah, Georgia featured one new match officially added to the card of Money in the Bank 2023, which takes place on July 1st at the O2 in London, England.
This is an Intercontinental Championship match of Matt Riddle vs. Gunther (c).
This match was announced during a backstage interview segment involving Riddle who revealed that he had challenged Gunther for his belt at Money in the Bank 2023. Riddle stated that his ankle is feeling fine despite Imperium’s attack last week and he’s sick and tired of Gunther hiding behind his lackies for the reason for his match challenge. Before he could continue, Luwdig Kaiser interrupted and bashed Riddle for his disrespect to “The Ring General” resulting in a brawl between the two. This brawl was quickly broken up by Gunther who chopped Riddle and stated that he accepted the challenge.
