Darby Allin Comments on AEW World Title Match at Double or Nothing 2023 Will be Special
TMZ Sports held a recent interview with Darby Allin. One of the topics discussed included his thoughts on his upcoming AEW Pillars Four-Way match for the AEW World Championship at AEW’s Double or Nothing 2023 event.
“My first ever main event in the whole entire company. That’s something I’ve strived for since day one. To be the face of the company. And to be the face of the company, I really believe you need to be champion.
I’m ready to rock it. This Sunday is going to be special. You got a bunch of young, hungry guys. I guess we all have chips on our shoulders. We got something to prove out there. We’re on last, we have to close the show. Got to bring the heat. I’m ready.”

Adam Cole Comments on Sabu’s AEW Appearance Being a Last Minute Situation
As noted before, ECW legend Sabu made a surprise appearance at this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
A recent episode of the Barstool Rasslin’ podcast had Adam Cole as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Cole revealing that Sabu’s surprise appearance and debut at AEW’s Dynamite show this past Wednesday was a last minute type thing.
“Oh my god, how incredible. Listen, I think over time, and this is pretty wild to think about, but when I was younger watching ECW, Sabu was one of my absolute favorites. It’s so weird to think as time goes on, because again Sabu was a student of the game, to think that I had his respect enough for him to help me with the J.A.S is pretty damn cool. It was absolutely a last minute decision. It’s great to have Roderick Strong there, but again, this match Sunday is Unsanctioned and we know that the J.A.S is going to be involved, so I took a shot in the dark. I talked to a friend of a friend, and reached out to Sabu. There’s nobody crazier or more prepared for an Unsanctioned match then Sabu. It all came together last minute man.”
