As noted before, AEW sold around 60,000 tickets for their combined pre-sale and official first day sale to the public for their upcoming AEW branded All In event this August at Wembley Stadium in London, England.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that AEW’s ticket sales for their upcoming All In event has reached around 62,000 sold for an updated gate revenue of around $7.9 million as of Thursday. Meltzer reported that AEW’s ticket sales slowing down a lot since its first official day on sale was something that was expected to happen due to this being a normal thing when it comes to ticket sales for a sporting and entertainment even. Meltzer also reported that the ticket sales for AEW’s event are currently expected to trickle in from now until AEW starts making major announcements regards the matches and people for the show.
In regards to total tickets available, Meltzer reported that AEW has around 65,854 tickets currently out for their upcoming event.
In regards to scalpers, Meltzer reported that around 837 tickets were available on the secondary market at the time of his report. Meltzer reported that this would represent just 1.35% of all current ticket sales and well below the usual average of around 20% for big events. For some comparisons, Meltzer reported that WWE had as high as 50% for the percentage of tickets sold for several WrestleMania and SummerSlam events that ended up on the secondary market.
In regards to event capacity, Meltzer reported that AEW currently has configured Wembley Stadium to hold around 74,000 for their upcoming event. AEW reportedly could open additional seats should they reach this amount in ticket sales or from changes made to their production setup for the show.
In regards to the event’s broadcast status, Meltzer reported that it is currently not known how AEW will broadcast this event beyond it not being a pay-per-view event. Meltzer reported that if the event were to air on a streaming service, then it very likely would be for Warner Bro Discovery’s MAX service and if not, it would be on one of WBD’s television networks. This decision reportedly would be up to WBD officials and not AEW.
