In-Ring: Edge, The Judgment Day
We go live into the Amica Mutual Pavillion to see WWE Hall of Famer Edge making his way to the ring. Edge gets a great reaction from the Providence crowd.
Edge stands in the ring, and the crowd gives him a great ovation. Edge says getting a reaction like this never gets old. This is why he still does this. Edge knows why he’s here. Providence also knows. Edge calls out Finn Bálor to the ring so they can finally be done with this.
The Judgment Day’s music hits, and they all appear on the stage. Finn Bálor stands alongside Dominik Mysterio, Damian Priest, and Rhea Ripley. Edge puts his head down in frustration. Bálor says he’s here live and in the flesh. They remain on the stage. Bálor says he finally agrees with all the clowns and wants to hear what he has to say. Edge says he’s not here to say anything. Edge is here to end this, but Bálor is just going to hide back there. If Edge comes over there, he’ll sick Pugsley and Wednesday on him.
A few weeks ago, Bálor challenged him to a match at WrestleMania. Since Bálor isn’t man enough to come in here and face him, if he wants his match at WrestleMania, then he’s got it. Bálor celebrates that he’s going to WrestleMania. If Edge thought the beating he got at Extreme Rules was bad… Edge tells him to shut his mouth. For the last year of his comeback, he’s wasted it with all of them. The year before that, he wrestled in front of a bunch of TV screens in the ThunderDome. Edge doesn’t have time for this. Edge needs to accomplish what he needs to do before he’s done. He’s running out of time. Bálor pulled the Judgment Day out from under his feet and made them better. Edge can admit that because he leaned into what they are: bitter, immature malcontents. They’re an emo-delight. It worked. Every other week, they have left him laying. They made Edge utter two words he never thought would fall out of his mouth: I Quit. Then they still bashed Beth’s skull in with a con-chair-to.
For the last year, they’ve tried to make his life a living hell. A lot of the time, they accomplished it. There is only one way that this can end. Edge says, “At WrestleMania, Edge versus Finn Bálor inside Hell in a Cell!” The crowd erupts! Bálor stares at him stone-faced. An “Edge” chant picks up. Bálor says he’s been to hell before and it spit him out. Hell couldn’t handle his Demons. Bálor says, “I’ll see you at WrestleMania.” Until then…
Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, and Dominik Mysterio make their way to the ring. They triple-team Edge and beat him down. The crowd boos. Dexter Lumis, Candice LeRae, and Johnny Gargano run down to make the save. Ripley easily handles LeRae.

In-Ring: Omos, MVP, Brock Lesnar
Omos is standing in the ring alongside his manager MVP. Omos will battle Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. MVP says, “Brock Lesnar, you are a brilliant athlete but a terrible tactician.” Lesnar made a critical error putting his hands on him two weeks ago, but the biggest mistake he’s ever made in his career was accepting a match against the 7-foot, 3-inch 416-pound “Nigerian Giant” Omos at WrestleMania.
Brock Lesnar’s music hits, and he comes out to a big reaction from the Providence crowd. Cowboy Brock circles the ring and is smiling. Lesnar gets in the ring and scares MVP back. The crowd is buzzing. Lesnar signals that Omos is big. A “Holy S**t” chant picks up, which is annoyingly censored by the USA Network. Lesnar steps up to Omos, who towers over him. Omos looks down at his WrestleMania opponent and holds a fist up to Lesnar’s face. His fist is half the size of Lesnar’s face, and Lesnar is a big man. Omos then extends a hand. Winner by Pinfall: Cody Rhodes
In-Ring: Cody Rhodes
Cody Rhodes grabs a microphone and looks at the crowd. The Providence crowd gives him a great ovation. A “Cody” chant picks up. Rhodes says he keeps hearing these warnings from Mr. Heyman that he should stay out of Bloodline business. Rhodes does not work for the Bloodline or Mr. Heyman. If Rhodes wants to come out here and stand side by side with Sami Zayn, he can do that. If he wants to fight alongside Kevin Owens, he can do that. Rhodes has also heard Mr. Heyman warn not to make this personal. Rhodes says it has been personal since he appeared on this show at 21 years old in front of these same cameramen. It’s personal when week after week, he’s choked up with every sentence. It’s personal when you wear a protective coat of armor, which is a tailored suit. It’s not because he is somebody. It’s because he wants to be somebody. Mr. Heyman talks about acknowledging Roman Reigns. Rhodes acknowledges him. Reigns needs to acknowledge him.
Rhodes is not perfect, but he has been perfect since coming back to WWE. Rhodes states that he is undefeated. Rhodes grew up thinking that he was a prince in this industry, but he has no crown. On April 2 when the sun goes down on Hollywood, it’s going down on Roman Reigns’ generational run. On April 2, it’s not just those that have Rhodes and Runnels blood pumping through their veins. It’s everyone that has ever rooted him on. Rhodes has waited his whole life and will wait no longer. On April 2, he will pin Reigns in the middle of the ring and be the first Rhodes to ever say is the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion!

Byron Saxton is backstage with Seth “Freakin” Rollins. Rollins is laughing and dancing around. Saxton asks about the sucker punch. Rollins says Logan Paul was acting like he won the lottery because he did. Paul landed the shot of a lifetime on Rollins. If there is one thing we’ve learned about Rollins over the past two years, you can’t keep him down. The next time Logan Paul…
The Miz walks up behind Rollins. Miz says Rollins is just jealous that Logan Paul knocked him out with a single punch. Rollins has lost control of the narrative. Miz says as the host of WrestleMania, he has privileged information. Next Monday, Logan Paul will host imPAULsive TV. Miz will be a guest.
Baron Corbin walks up and says he can be a guest since his schedule is free. Miz says that’s not going to happen. Corbin mentions he could be a co-host of WrestleMania. Rollins laughs. Miz says he doesn’t have that kind of pull. Corbin suggests he could train Rollins how to protect himself. Rollins says he’d rather take boxing lessons from his baby daughter. Corbin says Rollins is lucky that he’s not facing him because he could knock him out faster than Logan Paul. Rollins says that sounds like a challenge and accepts. Miz tells Corbin if he takes care of Rollins, he’ll put the good word in with Logan Paul.

Owens says he needed help for a long time and didn’t get it. Zayn has been asking him for help. With the history between them, is it really that hard to understand why he wouldn’t want to fight alongside Sami Zayn? Owens doesn’t need him. As for Cody Rhodes, if he wants to help out Sami Zayn, then that’s his problem. Owens also doesn’t want Rhodes’ help. Rhodes needs to focus on his WrestleMania match against Roman Reigns. Owens doesn’t want to be responsible for Rhodes not making it to WrestleMania. Owens will fight Sikoa and anyone else he brings by himself.
Backstage: The Street Profits, Austin Theory
Did #USChampion @_Theory1 just get in the head of @MontezFordWWE?#WWERaw pic.twitter.com/ttw28yxDou
— WWE (@WWE) March 14, 2023
Earlier today, the Street Profits made fun of United States Champion Austin Theory after being destroyed by John Cena. Theory laughs and says he hopes they’ll continue to be good at this because this is all they’ve got. In a few months, they’ll be unemployed. As for him, he got what he wanted, which is a match against John Cena at WrestleMania. Cena had a lot to say about him because he’s the most important thing in WWE. Theory wants to figure out who is the toughest among the Street Profits. Theory thinks it’s Angelo Dawkins. It’s not Montez Ford. When it comes to Ford, he’s a big bag of jokes. The biggest joke is that he lands on his face when he gets an opportunity. Whenever Theory gets an opportunity, he goes straight to the top. The smoke they claim to bring just leads them to choke. Dawkins says Cena is going to humble him at WrestleMania. Dawkins says the humbling doesn’t need to wait. He’ll cook him tonight. Theory accepts and reminds them that they’re doing nothing at WrestleMania.

Winner by Pinfall: Austin Theory
Theory saunters around the ring before locking Dawkins in the STF, one of John Cena’s signature moves. Theory releases the hold and gets out of the ring as Montez Ford runs down for the save. Theory grabs his title and says, “You can’t see me!”
Backstage: Paul Heyman
Paul Heyman storms up to Cathy Kelley and says the Bloodline has a problem: Kevin Owens. Tonight, the Bloodline demonstrates that they solve all problems. The Kevin Owens Problem will be solved by the Samoan Street Fighter named Solo. Cody Rhodes also has a problem. Rhodes thinks the truth shall set him free, but the truth will imprison his mind in thinking this will be personal to Roman Reigns. Of course, this is personal to Cody Rhodes. That’s what makes him such a compelling challenger for the main event of WrestleMania. To make this personal to Roman Reigns makes him a schmuck. If Rhodes wants to acknowledge Roman Reigns, then Heyman will give him a chance. Next week on Monday Night Raw, the Tribal Chief will be here on Raw. Cody Rhodes will acknowledge Roman Reigns. At that moment, he’ll make the biggest personal and business decision of his life. Rhodes will decide if he’s a challenger or a problem. Rhodes is a problem that Roman Reigns would love to personally solve.

Mysterio says he has to admit that it feels really damn good to be back on Raw. Just last year, they were celebrating 20 years together. It was a huge celebration. Now here they are celebrating the biggest honors of his life. Mysterio wants to be clear about this. This isn’t just his award. This is made by the people that helped him build up his career. This was made by the fans that connected with him for all the years he’s been in the business. This award is not just for him. It’s for all of us.
Dominik Mysterio’s music hits, and he walks out to the stage. Dominik sarcastically congratulates his father, who he just refers to as “Rey.” He actually deserves it because he put his entire life into this business. Dominik hopes it was worth it because Rey earned that honor at the expense of his son. A “You Suck” chant picks up. Dominik gets in the ring. Dominik says Rey put his entire life into this business. Rey chose all of these strangers rather than be there for his kids. Another “You Suck” chant picks up. Is it an honor that Dominik went all those nights without having a father? How does it feel? Rey told him that if he got good grades, he would take him out. When his 8th-grade promotion came up, Rey ditched him for WrestleMania. What else happened? He turned 16. Rey said he’d get him a new car. All of his friends showed up with a brand new Mercedes and Rey got him a BMW? The crowd boos Dominik. Dominik laments that it wasn’t even an M-Series.
Dominik says Rey is afraid because he sees him for what he really is. Dominik sees Rey as a sad, ugly excuse for a father… no, a man. Rey tells him to take that back, but Dominik lowers his microphone. Dominik says he’ll let Rey enjoy his Hall of Fame weekend at WrestleMania, but he’ll make it better for him because he’s challenging him to a match at WrestleMania. Rey looks away in shame as a “YES” chant picks up.
Dominik looks down on his father. Rey says he doesn’t know how many times he has to tell him, but he won’t fight his own son. The crowd boos. Whether Dominik believes it or not, Rey loves Dominik and always will. There will be no match at WrestleMania. Rey walks off. Dominik asks if this is really a Hall of Famer. Is Rey just going to walk away? Dominik says Rey is doing what he does best. Rey ran away from Raw, his entire family, and Dominik. The only thing Rey taught him is what not to be. Rey turns around and looks furious. Rey turns back to the stage and walks off.
Backstage: Becky Lynch, Lita, Trish Stratus
Cathy Kelley is still outside the trainer’s room. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Becky Lynch and Lita come out with Trish Stratus. Lita says they should have finished the job. Stratus says all Damage CTRL has managed to do is piss her off.

Gable turns the corner and sees Otis posing for photos with the Maximum Male Models. ma.cé and mån.sôör say they’re working on Otis’s headshots. They call Gable ugly and walk off. Otis follows and apologizes to his coach.
Bianca Belair vs. Chelsea Green

Belair shoves her and hits a waistlock takeover. Green elbows her in the face, but Belair quickly knocks her back. Belair sidesteps her, avoids a big boot, and takes her down. Belair taunts her and backflips over her. Belair connects with a backbreaker followed by a standing moonsault for a two-count. Carmella gets a cheap shot in, and Green picks up a two-count.
