Bandido Visa Issues Update
As noted before, Bandido has been absent from AEW in recent months due to work visa-related issues.
AEW CEO and Ring of Honor owner Tony Khan held a media call on Thursday to promote tonight’s ROH Supercard of Honor 2023 event in Los Angeles, California. One of the topics discussed included Khan stating that Bandido recently renewed his visa and will be able to resume working for AEW and ROH in the United States.
“Bandido is a great example of an international wrestler that I’ve seen in Ring of Honor and was on All In and is a tremendous talent. He signed with ROH when we started AEW. On ROH, he was the lineal champion. I really like working with him and he’s one of a number of international wrestlers who I really like who have had to renew their visas. It’s nothing nefarious, it’s a process that, when you use international talent, for a company that does the bulk of its business domestically, then you’re going to see visa renewals and you deal with it whether it’s in AEW or English football. I was very excited to get Bandido’s stuff all settled and he’s been a great example of somebody that has a chance to excel in both promotions and internationally.”

Adam Cole Comments on Future of His Wrestling Career
The Pop Break held a recent interview with Adam Cole. One of the topics discussed included Cole’s thoughts on his recent in-ring return to AEW and the future of his wrestling career.
“As far as March 29th goes, I could not be more elated and excited to get back into the ring. It’s my dream, this is all I have ever wanted to do since I was nine and I am very proud of the career that I have had, but in a lot of ways I haven’t even hit my prime yet in my opinion. I feel as if I have 10-15 more years in the ring. I am very thankful that I have been given this second chance in a lot of different ways. March 29th I am going to be a wreck.”
Cole also gave his thoughts about his current goals for his career.
“Objectively, when I look at the roster because I do believe so many men and women are firing on all cylinders right now the roster is so stacked. When I think about the time that I spent in AEW, which actually before this injury happened, not that much time has gone by. There is so much talent and so many people that I want to step in the ring with. You look at a lot of the young talent that AEW has. I would like to wrestle guys like Jungle Boy again, Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara, and the list goes on and on of people that I want to step into the ring with. So to answer your question besides becoming AEW World Heavyweight Champion I just want to wrestle some of the best pro wrestlers on the planet and we have them here in AEW.”
