NXT’s Ava Raine & Karl Fredericks Given New Ring Names

NXT talents Ava Raine and Karl Fredericks recently were given new ring names by WWE.

Raine will now be known under the new ring name of just “Ava” in the company going forward based on a recent update made by WWE for her superstar profile on their official website.

Fredericks will now be known under the new ring name of Eddy Thorpe in the company going forward. This announcement was first made by WWE following the release of the official show preview on their official website for Friday’s episode of NXT LEVEL Up on the WWE Network. This will be Fredericks official televised debut match in the company.

Full Match List for John Cena Showcase Mode for WWE 2K23

TheSmackDownHotel.com reported that this year’s John Cena themed Showcase mode for WWE 2K23 will feature fourteen playable matches from Cena’s career.

It was also reported that the matches in this mode do not take place chronically but are locked until they are playable in order to keep the surprise aspect of the mode’s match countdown.

Streaming service Crunchyroll recently announced that WWE’s Zelina Vega will be among the guests attending this year’s Anime Awards event on March 4th in Tokyo, Japan.

WWE announced that Roman Reigns recently reached the milestone of 900 days for his current reign as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. Reigns has been the Universal Champion since August 30, 2020 and Undisputed WWE Universal Champion since April 3, 2022.

As noted before, NXT talent Amari Miller has been out of action for WWE since this past January due to an ACL injury. Miller recently provided an injury update on Twitter stating that her surgery to repair her ACL was successful and is currently expected to be out of action for the next nine months.

Daytona International Speedway recently announced that Charlotte Flair will be an honorary race official at this year’s Daytona 500 NASCAR race on February 19th in Dayton Beach, Florida.

Fightful Select reported that their sources recently provided them with an actual prop contract used by WWE for their match contract signing segments on their television shows. The prop contract provided was from the Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley contract segment that aired during this past Monday’s RAW show. The wording of this prop contract stated:

“February 13th, 2023

To whom it may concern,

This document shall serve as a legal and binding agreement amongst all parties scheduled for the Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley Match, to be held at the WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event, to be held on Saturday, February 18th, 2023, at the Bell Centre, 1909 Av. des Canadiens-de-Montréal, Montréal, QC H3B 5E8, Canada.

The parties hereby agree to save hold harmless and indemnify WWE, WWE Network, and its affiliates from any liability regarding injuries that may or may not occur during the course of this exhibition.

The winner of the match hereby assigns all publicity rights to WWE, WWE Network, and its affiliates in regard to the Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley Match at Elimination Chamber on February 18th, 2023.

This contract is drawn in the state of Connecticut and all laws of Connecticut shall apply to its execution, arbitration, or contest
