Julia Hart Comments on Idea of Forming an All-Female Stable for AEW’s Women’s Division
A recent virtual fan signing event for Captain’s Corner featured Julia Hart as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Hart’s reasons why her eyepatch wearing storyline was her least favorite thing to do of her current AEW career.
“That was definitely, probably my least favorite part (was wearing the eyepatch). It was so hard to see, gave me a headache and I would get itchy and sweaty and I was just sitting on the steps and it was really hard to wrestle in. Anytime I’d run the ropes… I felt like I was stumbling and the first time I wrestled was that match with Jade [Cargill], was the first time I wrestled with the eyepatch and I just couldn’t see and I remember just being like, I can’t see. I think she literally kicked me in the face or something and I was like, I don’t care because I can’t see so, whatever happens, happens… It was really hard to wrestle in that. So hard.”
Hart also gave her thoughts on who she would pick from AEW’s Women’s division to form a potential new all-female stable.
“Abandon (is who I would team with if AEW created a women’s tag division). Abadon, or like me, Penelope [Ford] and Allie [The Bunny] could be trios. Or it could be us four of me, Penelope, Allie and Abadon. ‘The Weird Sisters’ or something… To me, it’s very witchy (the ‘Weird Sisters’ name).”

Swerve Strickland Comments on His New Mogul Affiliates Stable
A recent episode of The Cruz Show podcast had Swerve Strickland as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Strickland’s thoughts on his new Mogul Affiliates stable in AEW.
“We haven’t named this guy [Goetzman] yet, that’s somebody, y’all gotta keep watching the show. Then Parker Boudreaux right here, one of the most tapped-in wrestlers in the industry, today, a million followers. Man had Kevin Durant talking with him. We’re in the studio linking up all the time. Big time influence in the culture. That’s why they’re here, this is a big culture thing. A lot of our circles intertwine, that’s why we connected on a different level. My man over here [Goetzman] played pro baseball for seven years. There is a lot of history behind both of these guys that you’re going to want to study and really look up and follow our stories as we go forward on AEW. A lot of these fans want to see everything, all the information given to you at once. Walking Dead isn’t giving you everything in three seasons. We’re at 20 seasons now because there is a mystery to things. That’s how we move. Mogul Affiliates, we move with mystery and intrigue. That’s why we’re going to be on TV every week, which is a challenge in the wrestling industry in itself. We don’t think about wrestling, we think about television, we’re just good at wrestling.”
