Backstage Heat on Braun Strowman Update

As noted before, Braun Strowman is currently dealing with some backstage heat within WWE over recent disparaging online comments he made towards wrestlers who work a high flying style.

Fightful Select reported that their sources confirmed the recent reports of Strowman dealing with backstage heat in the company are true. Those sources reportedly stated that Strowman had been on his best behavior and easy to deal with backstage backstage since his return unlike the last time he was in the company but the behavior of “social media Braun” was a different story.

WWE officials reportedly are currently aware of Strowman’s recent online controversy with one person spoken to stating that they thought Strowman had acted immature.

Those spoken to reportedly also stated that Strowman’s comments was not part of an ongoing or upcoming planned angle nor would it likely be turned into one but his words could eventually be used to rib him on screen by talent or by commentary for his stance.

One talent spoken to reportedly stated that while “they’ll never do a flip in their life,” Strowman’s tweets should have never have happened. This same talent reportedly also spoke up in defense of high flying wrestlers stating that “we need them, and they need us. Wrestling is everything. There’s very little truly right and wrong. He didn’t come up in the business doing the things that a lot of those people did, so he probably doesn’t understand.”
