WWE Reportedly Planning Next NXT Event for Dec. 10th, Same Date as ROH Final Battle 2022

As noted before, Ring of Honor owner Tony Khan recently announced that ROH’s next event will be Final Battle 2022 and it will take place on December 10th in Arlington, Texas.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE officials currently are planning to hold their next Premium Live Event for their NXT brand on that same date. Those spoken to stated that NXT talent were recently informed by WWE that a December 10th date has been internally scheduled for this upcoming event.

In regards to the event’s name, it was reported that it is currently rumored to be called NXT Deadline. This is the same name of a recent trademark filed on October 15th for wrestling and entertainment-related purposes. While they have not confirmed from their sources if this will be the actual name for the event, those spoken to stated that NXT staff and talent had been made aware to keep the December 10th date open for their work schedules.

In regards to ROH’s Final Battle 2022 event that day, it was reported that it is currently not known if WWE will run their next NXT event directly against ROH’s event but at the moment, ROH’s event is currently scheduled to take place that afternoon and NXT’s event is currently expected to take place that night.

In regards to the location for this upcoming NXT event, it was reported that WWE officials are currently planning for it to take place at their Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

An official announcement regarding this upcoming event reportedly is currently expected to be made during this Saturday’s NXT Halloween Havoc 2022 event.
