Laredo Kid Underwent Emergency Surgery & Official Statement from AAA

Lucha Libre AAA and Impact Wrestling talent Laredo Kid stated on Instagram that he recently underwent emergency surgery due to him suffering an injury at an event for AAA this past Sunday in Monterrey, Mexico.

I don’t know how or where to start with this news — Yesterday unfortunately @laredokidpro had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital after finishing the fight for the championship in Monterrey. He had to undergo early morning emergency surgery. GAD a little while ago was aware and aware of his situation to alert family + closest friends. Hopefully in the next few hours, days your situation improves and becomes stable

Following Kid’s announcement, AAA issued an official statement on Twitter revealing that Kid had suffered multiple abdominal-related issues requiring immediate hospitalization.

At the end of our Campeonato Showcenter event on October 23, Laredo Kid was attended by medical personnel after multiple abdominal disturbances. Afterwards, he was transferred to a near-by hospital for a revision & a diagnosis.At midnight on Monday October 24, he went through surgery with positive results.At this moment, he is stable and is under medical supervision. We will keep providing updates according to Medical Reports.
