WWE: Gunther on Interest in NXT Europe, Seth Rollins on Favorite Career Moment, A&E Update

Gunther Comments on His Interest in Potentially Working for NXT Europe

Cultaholic Wrestling held a recent interview with Gunther. One of the topics discussed included Gunther’s thoughts on his interest in potentially working for WWE’s NXT Europe brand after it launches.

“I think it’s still so fresh that there aren’t really concrete plans or anything. But I’m definitely up to being involved somehow. I think it’d a great progression from NXT UK. I think there’s a lot of potential in NXT Europe so I hope we can do our part in that.”

Gunther also gave his thoughts about his time in NXT UK.

“I think it was a great time because obviously myself and back then Fabian Aichner, we started in NXT and then we had the chance to go over there, and that was also when we got back together with WALTER and Imperium happened and all that. So it was a very important stage of our career. Lots of great memories from that time. But now it’s time to move on, now it’s a different part of our career, now we make the very best out of that.”

Seth Rollins Comments on His Favorite Wrestling Career Moment

A recent episode of the My Love Letter to Wrestling podcast had Seth Rollins as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Rollins’ thoughts about his favorite moment of his wrestling career.

“Oh wow, man that’s so tough for me [to choose my favorite story I’ve been a part of in wrestling] because I — you know, everyone knows my WWE history, then I had a lot of great stories before that in Ring of Honor and on the indies or whatever… Yeah, IWA Mid-South [Rollins chuckled]. One of my favorite stories I think that I was ever involved in was probably the reuniting of myself and Dean Ambrose, Jon Moxley now in AEW just because there was such a connection that our audience had to The Shield and our group when we split and years went by before we kind of reunited but the way we got into it was really well done and everywhere I went for — I mean even now, even now, ten years later, eight years later I guess it is, people still ask, ‘When is The Shield gonna get back together?’ We’ve gotten back together and broke up about five times and they still ask that so when we did the kind of first reunion story, there was just a lot of real, genuine emotion and I was going through a period in my life in real life where I was just kind of all over the place and I needed something to ground me and my character was kind of in the same boat and so, you got a lot of real emotion in that story and that was one of the ones that really kind of sticks out to me if I had to pick just one.”
