Hangman Page, John Silver & Alex Reynolds vs. Orange Cassidy & Best Friends

Danhausen was ejected for cursing the Dark Order. Don Callis is on commentary with the team, scouting for Kenny Omega.

Hangman and Orange Cassdy started out. Some of the usual Cassidy shenanigans. The Best Friends knocked Silver and Reynolds into each other. They placed Silver on the top rope and attempted a double superplex but Hangman made the save. Cassidy taunted him with kicks then nailed a superkick on Silver. Cassidy covered him for a two count.

The battle continues during the commercial including a Hangman lariat off the ropes onto Chucky T, who was on the apron outside. Hangman drilled Orange with a fall away dslam and hit a dive to the outside. The Best Friends nailed him with a double chokeslam through a table on the floor. Reynolds nailed Cassidy with a superkick for a two count. Silver cleaned house with some big moves and scored with a series of kicks on Cassidy. Cassidy came back with the Slumdog Millionaire.

The Best Friends and Cassidy triple-teamed Silver but Hangman made the save. Hangman beat down Cassidy but Best Friends made the save. Silver and Reynolds double-teamed Cassidy, who surprised Silver with a small package for a two count. Silver went to the top but Taylor nailed the Awful Waffle for a two count. The Best Friends took out Reynolds, double-teaming him on the floor. Hangman went for the Buckshot lariat but was was his with The Orange Punch. Silver drilled Taylor with a big lariat and scored the pin.

Rey Fenix vs. Blake Christian

Some nice athletic action early. Fenix took him down and went for a springboard off the ropes. Christian tried to ward him off with chops but Fenix warded them off and hit a soringboard into a lucha armdrag. Christian was able to knock Fenix to the floor and hit a great twisting dive to the floor. Christian went for a springboard move back into the ring but Fenix avoided him and struck with a big superkick. Fenix nailed a Michinoku Driver variation and scored the pin.

Backstage: Hook, Angelo Parker, Matt Menard

Lexy Nair interviewed FTW Champion Hook. Angelo Parker and Matt Menard showed up before Hook could speak. Parker tried to talk himself up to Hook’s face, so Hook ripped off his shirt and was going to throw down but Menard backed down and said this wasn’t the streets of NYC and they’d get a taste of the title on Sunday.


Mixed Tag Team Match
Sammy Guevara & Tay Melo vs. Ortiz & Ruby Soho

Ortiz and Sammy started out with Ortiz working him over in the corner. Soho helped and then drilled Melo in the face with a kick from the apron to the floor. The crowd began chanting for Ruby as they went to commercial. During the break, Melo attacked Soho’s arm on the floor, kicking the steel steps into it, with the idea she hurt Soho’s previously injured wrist. This allowed Guevara to work over Ortiz, including choking him on the ropes.

Ortiz tried to fight from underneath but was caught under Guevara’s boot as Sammy tried to smother him in the corner. Ortiz was chopped away in the corner. Soho was still down on the floor, hurting. Guevara was caught with a powerslam. Soho returned and tagged in, cleaning house on Melo. Soho nailed a series of headbutts. Melo went for a kick but Soho caught it and drilled her with a kneelift. Guevara hit the ring but Ortiz met him. Soho was slammed atop of Guevara, followed by Ortiz nailing a back senton splash for a two count.

Ruby faced off with Sammy and drilled him with a headbutt. Melo DDT’d her but Ortiz broke up the pinfall. Sammy and Melo tried to double-team Ortiz but Ortiz landed on his feet and German suplexed Guevara. As that happened, Soho used a jackrabbit rollup and scored the pin on Melo.

Lexy Nair interviewed The Dark Order and Hangman Page. Don Callis showed up and told Page that screwing your friends over for power gets easiest and he likes it.


Sit-Down Interview: Jade Cargill, Athena

They aired a vignette with Mark Henry doing a sit-down interview with TBS Champion Jade Cargill and Athena. Cargill said Athena is just #38 in the line of people who will be beaten. Athena cut a hell of a promo saying she was going to take her down for everyone Jade has disrespected in the locker room.


Backstage: Swerve in Our Glory, The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviewed AEW Tag Team Champions Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland and The Acclaimed. They talked trash on each other.


In-Ring: Wardlow, FTR, Motor City Machine Guns, Sonjay Dutt, Jay Lethal & Satnam Singh

ROH, IWGP & AAA Tag Team Champions FTR & AEW TNT Champion Wardlow came to the ring. Dax thanked the fans for their welcome and said there was a time in his life that outside his circle, he felt no one really loved him. Then, 2022 happened. From there, the momentum turned around. He feels the love and some people don’t like them and that’s OK. He said some journalists have asked why is this match Sunday happening. He said this match is happening because every match he has added to their legacy.

As he continued, out came The Motor City Machine Guns, Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh. Chris Sabin said they rep the greatest city in creation and the tag team that inspired an entire generation. Dax told them 10,000 people were calling them an a-hole. Shelley said the four of them on this stage as a family. Dutt said this Sunday, they are going to mess with everything Dax holds deat. He asked Dax if he was going to fight like his eight year old brat. Dax wanted to go fight but everyone was held apart.


Ricky Starks vs. QT Marshall

Backstage, QT Marshall said he’s going out there alone so everyone knows his word is his bond. Ricky Starks said he’s made sure that’s true and shows that he’s in front of The Factory’s locker room, which has been locked with them banging trying to be free. Marshall tried to free them but Starks attacked him. They battled into the arena.

Starks whipped Marshall into the the wall of the arena. He climbed into the seat and beat down Marshall with right hands. He jumped off with a double axe-handle. They fought to the ringside area. Starks tossed him into the ring, at which point the bell officially rang.

Marshall drilled Starks and rocked him, then choked him against the ropes. He nailed a suplex on Starks. Marshall worked him over for a long time. Starks blocked some punches in the corner and fired back. Marshall kicked him hard but was stopped on the top rope. Starks ascended to the top and nailed a big superplex.

Starks nailed a big dropkick and a belly to belly suplex. He drilled Marshall with a DDT. Nick Comoroto and The Factory came to ringside. They tried to interfere but referee Paul Turner caught it. Starks clobbered them with clotheslines on the floor but was nailed in the groin when Marshall kicked the ropes as he returned. Marshall went for a Diamond Cutter but Starks escaped. He nailed another but Starks kicked out. Starks came back to nail his inverted powerslam for the pin.

Powerhouse Hobbs charged the ring and they began slugging it out. The officials pulled them apart but they broke free and kept brawling.

Jericho was trashing Bryan Danielson on commentary so Bryan came out and they went face to face as the show went off the air.
