Malakai Black’s AEW Status Update
This past Sunday’s AEW All Out 2022 event featured a Trios match between House of Black and Miro, Sting, & Darby Allin which was won by Miro’s team. Following the match, Black bowed and blew a kiss to the crowd before he left. Black is currently believed to be dealing with a serious personal issue that reached a point where he is considering leaving AEW and his wrestling career over it.
During AEW’s All Out 2022 post-show media scrum, AEW CEO Tony Khan gave a “no comment” type answer when asked about Black’s bow to the crowd and future status in the company. Khan stated:
“I’m not sure, I can’t comment on that, though. That was for the live fans and it definitely got some people talking, so it is a thing that happened but no I can’t comment on that.”
