Friday’s WWE SmackDown drew 2,084,000 viewers on FOX, up from the previous week’s 1,927,000 viewers.
It drew a 0.47 rating in the 18-49 demographic, up from last week’s 0.44.
As noted before, SmackDown drew a preliminary viewership of 2,354,000 viewers which was impacted by several FOX television markets preempting the show for NFL Preseason games coverage and had caused some of NFL’s viewership numbers to be counted towards SmackDown’s numbers.
Last year’s SmackDown on August 20, 2021 drew 2,102,000 viewers. The August 21, 2020 episode drew 2,168,000 viewers.
