As noted before, WWE announced earlier today that they will be launching a new developmental brand called NXT Europe next year. It was also announced that their NXT UK brand would be going on a hiatus as a result.
WWE recently cancelled two sets of tapings for their NXT UK brand due to schedule-related issues with BT Sports over the use of their BT Sports Arena which led to WWE not bothering to find a new venue for tapings.
As part of these changes, at least twelve talents from WWE’s NXT UK brand have been released today based on statements from NXT UK talents on Twitter and Instagram.
Those currently known to be released are Mark Andrews, Flash Morgan Webster, Wild Boar, Primate, Dave Mastiff, Jack Starz, Emilia McKenzie, Ashton Smith, Nina Samuels, Dani Luna, Sha Samuels, and Rohan Raja.
