Ric Flair Comments on His Famous “Wooo” Catchphrase Being Added Back to WWE’s Intro Signature
As noted before, WWE removed Ric Flair and his famous “Wooo” catchphrase from their intro signature video this past September as part of the fallout against Flair from Dark Side of the Ring’s Plane Ride From Hell episode. This episode featured resurfaced past allegations of sexual assault committed by Flair towards a flight attendant that took place during WWE’s infamous plane ride incident.
This past Monday’s episode of WWE RAW featured the return of Flair’s catchphrase for WWE’s intro signature video.
Following the show, Flair commented on Twitter about WWE restoring his catchphrase to their intro video.

Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources stated that WWE officials recently made the decision to add Flair back to their signature video for shows due to being under the belief that whatever heat they’d have gotten for their association with Flair after Dark Side of the Ring’s episode is completely done. Meltzer reported that another reason was due to WWE being back on good terms with Flair since working with him on their WWE Evil series.
