Santana Injury Status Update
As noted before, Santana has been out of action for AEW since suffering a knee injury at AEW’s Dynamite Blood & Guts 2022 event last month.
A recent episode of the True Gordie podcast had Chris Jericho as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Jericho revealing that Santana is currently expected to be out of action for at least eight months.
“He f*cked up his knee from doing a simple Rock Bottom. That’s not on top of a cage, that’s not falling off a cage, that’s not getting hit with a barbed wire bat, or whatever. It’s doing a wrestling move, and he’s out eight months.”
