In-Ring: Becky Lynch, Asuka, Bianca Belair
WWE Raw kicks off with Becky Lynch walking down to the ring. She welcomes everyone to the big time, to Monday Night Raw! Lynch says it has been a while since she came out and welcomed everyone because truth be told, she didn’t feel up for it without her title. She did not feel like coming out and pretending like everything is ok while so many of them prayed for her downfall.
Becky says many wish that she would never get her hands on that title. But she does what she wants and she is pretty fueled up. She says some people collect stamps but she collects enemies and she will keep collecting them as she is up to the top. She says she will regain her title at Hell in a Cell.
Lynch says the odds are stacked against her but they always have been and that never stopped her before. She defies the odds but right now, she wants to go back to the 2020 Money in the Bank. We see Asuka standing on top of the ladder with a contract. She earned her way to the top and that is why when Becky went off to create life like the God she is, she generously gave Asuka the greatest gift of her career. She handed her the title. She says she had a plan that Asuka would hold the title until she got back and she would come back and beat her. But what she realizes now is she created a selfish, entitled monster by handing Asuka that title.
Asuka’s music hits. Asuka says Becky is still big time baby.. Asuka speaks in Japanese and she says no one is ready for Asuka. Not Bianca, not Becky because at Hell in a Cell, she is ready to be the new Raw women’s champion. Becky tells her that is not how it is going to work.
Out comes Bianca Belair to the ring. Bianca says both of them need to stop because they are saying too much. She is not complaining that she has to defend her title at Hell in a Cell and not even in a one on one match. She doesn’t even have to get pnned in order to lose her title. But unlike the two of them, she likes to do her talking in the ring.
Bianca says she respects Asuka but in the match tonight, she will have a lot to say. And as for Becky, she cannot wait to give her a piece of her mind at Hell in a Cell. Because she doesn’t care what her odds are, the only percentage she is sure of is that the title is not going anywhere. And if she has to, she will 100% drop Becky just like she did at WrestleMania. He says imagine you are him and you get a second chance at WrestleMania against Seth Rollins. He says he was nervous. He was very nervous because everything he had done, everywhere he had gone to, he could not return here with a loss. And he didn’t. And the Cody chants got louder and louder. And now all he hears in his sleep is Cody. And he cannot stand it any longer.
Rollins says Cody left WWE six years ago because he was not good enough. And every single day that he was gone, he and his little friends tried to tear down what he was building. And when that didn’t work, he came running back. The prodigal son returns home to fulfill his family legacy. Not on his watch says Seth.
