Impact Wrestling talent Tasha Steelz reportedly suffered a head-related injury at Impact’s set of television tapings this past Sunday in Poughkeepsie, New York, according to PWInsider.
Mike Johnson reported that Steelz suffered the injury during a tag team match with Savannah Evans against Decay. Steelz reportedly landed wrong during a spot and was described to be “out of it” afterwards but the exact moment is currently not known. One source spoken to stated that they believe it was from a clothesline spot Steelz took on the outside resulting in her bumping too high and hitting her head. Another source stated that her injury was likely from a different spot instead.
Steelz reportedly was checked out by medical personnel at ringside while Evans finished the remainder of the match and was helped to the back by the match referee and medical personnel. Johnson reported that his sources stated that Steelz left the building later that night under her own power.
WrestleZone reported that their sources stated that Steelz’s injury was not serious and she has been medically cleared to compete at Impact’s next set of television tapings next month in Newport, Kentucky.
Steelz herself confirmed that her injury was not serious during a recent interview with the Women’s Wrestling Talk podcast. Steelz stated “Ima bad ass, can’t nothing or nobody hold me down!”
