The Young Bucks vs. Top Flight

The bell sounds and we’re off-and-running with this one. We see some early back-and-forth action and then the Top Flight duo pulls out front from an offensive standpoint.

As the action gets going a bit, we see the Martin’s pick up the pace and utilize their unique offense to remain in control of the match.

Once the match hits the floor, a couple of super kicks from the Jackson’s shifts the momentum in their favor. As the match resumes inside the ring with The Young Bucks in control of things, we head to a mid-match commercial break as the bout continues.

When we return from the break, we see the Bucks still dominating the action, however Dante Martin goes on a fired up comeback that starts to see Top Flight take over until a pair of thumbs to the eyes of Martin from Jackson kills his offensive run.

The Young Bucks resume control of the bout until the Martin’s start using some solid double-team offense that sees them pull ahead into the lead. Martin goes for a big high spot from the ring to the floor but crashes into the barricade instead.

Back in the ring, the other Martin counters a spanish fly attempt but now that he has finally enabled himself the ability to tag out, there is no one to tag due to Dante still being down and out from the missed spot on the floor moments ago.

As a result, the Bucks take back over and after they execute some double-team spots on Darius, they finish him off with a BTE Trigger for the pin fall victory.

Winners: The Young Bucks

Video Package: Kris Statlander

They air a video package on Kris Statlander promising another side of her.

Segment: Dan Lambert, Men of the Year, Paige VanZant, Sammy Guevara, Tay Conti

We hear Dan Lambert, The Men of the Year — Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky, as well as Paige VanZant, run down Sammy Guevara and Tay Conti, the latter duo are shown on the big screen in the parking lot.

They proceed to destroy the car of Lambert as he freaks out in the ring. Guevara called it the first of many things he will do to change Lambert’s mind regarding no longer giving him a shot at the TNT Championship that used to be his.

Backstage: Hook, Danhausen

Tony Schiavone tried to interview Hook backstage, but Danhausen showed up and tried to curse Hook again, but Hook brushed him off and walked away.

Trios Match
House of Black vs. Evil Uno, Stu Grayson & Fuego Del Sol

We see The Dark Order and Del Sol dominate early on with fast-paced, crowd-popping offensive spots, however this doesn’t last long.

As the House of Black trio takes over, they lawn-dart Del Sol out onto the Dark Order duo on the floor. As they continue their beatdown of their opposition, we head to a mid-match commercial break.

We return from the commercials and see Buddy Matthews beating down Fuego in the ring. Fuego keeps trying to make the tag and keeps getting stopped, however he eventually slaps the hand of Stu Grayson to bring The Dark Order member in the ring.

Grayson goes on a fired up comeback for his team, cleaning house of the House of Black members. He hits a double-team spot with Uno for a close near fall.

Fuego Del Sol tags in again and finds himself alone in the ring with all three members of House Of Black. He struggles at first but eventually cleans house of them all except Malakai, who he hits the ropes to land a big spot on.

Instead, Malakai avoids the move from Fuego by spinning and catching him as he comes down from mid-air directly into a roundhouse kick. This is all she wrote as he covers him for the pin fall victory.

Winners: House of Black

Backstage: The Young Bucks

We shoot to the Cutler Cam backstage as The Young Bucks are standing by. They deliver a message to a specific team — FTR.

After disposing of the number two ranked team this evening by beating Top Flight, they claim it is now time for The Young Bucks-FTR II showdown that everyone has been waiting for.

It will go down next week on Dynamite.

Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament Qualifier
Jamie Hayter vs. Skye Blue

The action sees Blue get dominated early on by Hayter as Rebel cheers her on from ringside.

Blue counters a delayed vertical suplex and then hits a crucifix bomb for a close near fall. She goes for a sunset flip and covers her again, but once more only gets a count of two.

Hayter spikes Blue across her knee with a vicious back-breaker to kill her momentum and shift the offensive momentum back into her favor.

Blue counters Hayter as she was leaping off the ropes and blasted her with a big knee. She goes for the cover and gets another long two-count.

Hayter turns Blue inside out with a leaping backdrop-driver. The commentators popped along with the fans for that spot. Blue catches Hayter charging into the corner with a big shot to slow her down.

Blue heads to the top-rope and looks for a high spot but Hayter ends up running into the ropes to stop her. She climbs up after her and ultimately hits a huge superplex.

She rolls through and hits a follow-up brainbuster on the mat. She then hits her Rip Cord finisher for the pin fall victory to advance to the first round of the tournament.

Hayter joins Toni Storm as the other competitor to qualify for the inaugural tourney thus far.

Winner and ADVANCING to the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament: Jamie Hayter

Backstage: Penta Oscuro

We shoot backstage where Penta El Zero Miedo is shown with Alex Abrahantes standing by his side.

Penta delivers a message to The House of Black and appears to be calling them out for a future showdown inside the squared circle.

Keith Lee vs. Powerhouse Hobbs

It’s time for our main event of the evening. We shoot backstage for a Mark Henry pre-match split-screen interview segment. Hobbs starts off the talking, claiming he will not be basking in anyone’s glory, but will instead use his finisher to put Lee down. Lee insists that he will, in fact, bask in the glory of Ketih Lee. It was after that statement that “The World’s Strongest Man” determined that there has been enough talk. Henry decides that oh yes, it is in fact time for this week’s AEW Rampage main event. On that note, we head to another commercial break.

We see the two make their way out to the ring after the break and then they stare each other down in intense fashion as we await the bell to sound.

The bell finally does sound to get this match off-and-running and then we see the two begin to go at it. Hobbs fares well coming out of the gate, however Lee ends up turning the tables on him.

Hobbs heads out to the floor to regroup before re-entering the ring, where after a minute or so of action, we head to a mid-match commercial break as the match continues.

When we return from the break, we see Hobbs take over and begin dominating things for a while. Lee ends up going into berzerker mode to shift the momentum in his favor.

Once Lee takes over, we see him head to the top-rope. Ricky Starks leaves his spot at the commentary desk and runs down to the ring to attack Lee with a chair, however Lee saw him coming and ran over to knock the chair out of his hands.

From there, Shane “Swerve” Strickland appears at ringside and yanks Starks off the ring apron.

They brawl up the aisle. Taz also heads down to ringside to try and help as well, but he too fails to do so and ends up watching as Lee recovers and hits his finisher on Hobbs for the pin fall victory.

Winner: Keith Lee

After the match, however, we see Team Taz cause some damage. Starks puts Strickland through a table at ringside. In the ring, Hobbs blasts Lee from behind with a steel chair to the spine.

Starks puts a table in the ring and Taz starts directing traffic, telling the Team Taz members what to do in this post-match attack.

The table is leaned in the corner and Starks takes his shoe off and bashes Lee with it as Hobbs spears Lee through the table.

Starks is busted open from a shot he took from Strickland. Hobbs and Starks continue their onslaught and stand tall as this week’s show goes off the air on that note.
