In-Ring Contract Signing: Charlotte Flair, Sonya Deville, Ronda Rousey, Naomi
Adam Pearce is in the ring with a table and four chairs. He welcomes everyone to the show. He introduces Sonya Deville and Charlotte Flair to the ring. Both women are in the ring as he introduces Naomi and Ronda Rousey.
Sonya says she knows how contract signings work but he should explain the rules to Naomi and Ronda because they don’t know them. Ronda says the first rule is to sign the contract and Naomi tells her the second rule is she will get slapped in the face. Flair tells Naomi she beat her last week and Ronda has never defeated her. Sonya signs the contract as does Flair. Sonya says Ronda did an interview where she said she can easily defeat her with one arm tied behind her back and it made her think.
Deville says she spoke to the higher ups and it’s written at the bottom of the contract that Ronda will wrestle the match with one arm tied behind her back. Ronda signs the contract and as does Naomi. Ronda tells her with no hands she will still tap dance on her forehead. Ronda says the match is tomorrow and she has two hands tonight.
Ronda throws the contract onto Flair and slams her face first onto the table. Both her and Naomi flip the table on Flair and Deville.
Sheamus vs. Ricochet
We cut backstage and it’s Sheamus with Ridge Holland. He tells him that he has never had a problem with Ricochet, he has always defeated him. But the fact that Ricochet got the best of Ridge, that annoys him. Sheamus tells him he has to get his head in the game. They step out to the ring.
The bell rings and we are under way. Ricochet with a drop kick. He goes for the cover but Sheamus kicks out. Sheamus with a knee to the midsection followed by uppercuts. He sends Ricochet to the ropes but Ricochet with a drop kick and Sheamus falls to the outside. Ricochet with a spinning suicide dive onto Sheamus. He throws Sheamus back into the ring. Ricochet jumps off the top rope but Sheamus moves out of the way and Sheamus with an Irish curse back breaker. Sheamus with a knee to the face.
Sheamus with a back suplex. A head lock by Sheamus in the middle of the ring but Sheamus gets out of it. Sheamus with a cross body and both men to the outside of the ring. Ricochet on the ring apron, he goes for a moonsault but Sheamus catches him and a fall away slam over the announce table.
Back from commercial, Ricochet with a spinning DDT. Right hands by Ricochet as he lands a cross body off the second rope. Ricochet on the ring apron as he lands a flying elbow off the top rope. A standing moonsault by Ricochet. He goes for the cover but Sheamus kicks out. Ricochet lifts Sheamus up but Sheamus with an elbow to the jaw. An Alabama slam by Sheamus. He goes for the cover but Ricochet kicks out. Sheamus climbs the top rope but Ricochet jumps to the top ope and the Spanish fly. Ricochet goes for the cover but Sheamus kicks out.
Ricochet climbs the top rope as Holland gets on the ring apron. He distracts Ricochet as Sheamus goes for the Brogue Kick. Ricochet moves out of the way and Sheamus almost hits Holland and gets angry at him for jumping on the apron. Ricochet with the Recoil off the distraction. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.
Winner: Ricochet
Sheamus is not happy as he pushes Holland down after the match.
Backstage: Sami Zayn
Kayla is backstage with Sami Zayn. She asks him about his Intercontinental championship match tonight. She tells him that Rick Boogs will not be there because of faulty wiring. Sami tells her that he had nothing to do with that. And they have been trying to keep him away from the Intercontinental championship. He says this has been the worst year of his life but tonight will be the best night of his life because he will win the championship.
Jey Uso vs. Ivar
The bell rings and we are under way. Right hands by Jey but Ivar with right hands. Ivar sends Jey to the ropes and a side walk slam. He goes for a splash but Jey moves out of the way. Jey with a super kick. He goes for the cover but Ivar kicks out. Jey with a head lock but Ivar gets out of it and he hits Jey with a clothesline.
Ivar with a splash on Jey. Ivar climbs the top rope and a splash. He goes for the cover but Jimmy breaks it up with the Viking’s head gear as the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: By disqualification, Ivar
In-Ring: Drew McIntyre, Happy Corbin & Madcap Moss
Drew McIntyre makes his way down to the ring. He says his career almost ended as they show a clip of Corbin and Madcap attacking him last month. He says he was told by the doctor that he would not make WrestleMania and he remembered two years ago at WrestleMania against Brock Lesnar, last year he was Champion and this year it’s personal. He says at Elimination Chamber, it’s anything goes. He asks the fans to help with a hashtag and that’s #MadCapMauling.
Out come Corbin and Madcap. Corbin says Drew is bullying his friend and he should be a role model for little Scottish boys. Madcap tells him like any good comedian, he is good at using the environment around him. Drew says Madcap has all of the talent in the world but he decided to align himself with a piece of crap like Corbin and the biggest mistake he made was going after Drew McIntyre. He tells him Elimination Chamber will be the night laughter died.
WWE Intercontinental Championship
Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. Sami Zayn
We cut backstage and Kayla is with Shinsuke Nakamura. She asks him what his plan will be against Sami Zayn without Rick Boogs. He tells her his plan is to kick Sami in the face. And if Sami truly believes he can defeat Nakamura, Sami is in-Zayn.
Later in the ring, the bell rings and we are under way. Right hands by Zayn but Nakamura with a flying kick to the face. Nakamura with knees to the face. Zayn on the ring apron and Nakamura with the running knee. Nakamura jumps and goes for a knee to the face on Zayn but he moves out of the way and Nakamura hits knee first onto the outside.
Back from commercial, Zayn with a head lock and he goes for the cover but Nakamura kicks out. A chop to the chest by Zayn and a clothesline. He goes for the cover but Nakamura kicks out. Elbows to the face onto Nakamura followed by a head lock but Nakamura reverses it into an arm bar. Zayn reverses it into a cover but Nakamura kicks out. Right hands by Nakamura followed by a kick.
Nakamura with a drop kick. Nakamura with a release German suplex. He goes for the cover but Zayn kicks out. Nakamura goes for the reverse exploder but Zayn with elbows. Nakamura runs to the ropes but Zayn with the Michinoku driver. He goes for the cover but Nakamura kicks out. Nakamura rolls to the outside of the ring. Zayn jumps through the ropes but Nakamura with a kick to the face. Nakamura goes for the Kinshasa but Zayn moves out of the way and Nakamura hits leg first on the steel steps.
Back from commercial, Zayn is stomping on Nakamura’s left leg. He places Nakamura on the top rope as Zayn climbs the second rope. Nakamura pushes him down. Nakamura with a flying kick to the face. He goes for the cover but Zayn kicks out. Nakamura goes for the Kinshasa but Zayn with a drop kick. Zayn with the Blue Thunder Bomb. He goes for the cover but Nakamura kicks out. Zayn stomps on Nakamura in the corner but Nakamura grabs Zayn’s leg and kicks by Nakamura. He stomps on Zayn.
Nakamura with a kick to the side of the head. Nakamura goes for the Kinshasa but Zayn rolls to the outside of the ring. Nakamura grabs Zayn but Zayn trips him and slams Nakamura’s left leg into the ring post. Zayn gets back into the ring. Nakamura goes for a kick but Zayn kicks him in the leg. He goes for a small package and gets the pin.
Winner: New WWE Intercontinental champion, Sami Zayn
Backstage: Ricochet, Aliyah, Sami Zayn
Aliyah is backstage with Ricochet as she congratulates him on his win. He says Sheamus is a former Royal Rumble winner and a former United States champion and a former WWE champion. He tells her Sheamus tried to make his life miserable but after beating him, he can work towards his future. He smiles and walks away. Zayn sneaks up behind Aliyah and he celebrates telling her he’s the new Intercontinental champion.
In-Ring: Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, Goldberg
Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman make their way down to the ring. Roman tells New Orleans to acknowledge him. He calls Heyman wise man and tells him to celebrate him. Heyman this is the best part of his day because he knows that no one understands what it means to stand this close to greatness but he finds it spiritually orgasmic. He says if you never got the chance in his prime Michael Jordan, if you never got the chance to see Wayne Gretzky, if you never got a chance to see in his prime Drew Brees, you didn’t miss a thing because he played for the Saints, you will have the chance in less than 24 hours from seeing the Tribal Chief do what he does best.
Goldberg’s music hits and out he comes to the ring. Goldberg grabs a microphone and drops it. Roman tells him he was going to give him one last chance to acknowledge him. Goldberg gets in Roman’s face. Roman tells him that he runs things around here, he is in his ring. He is there to fight or to talk. He gives the microphone to Goldberg as Goldberg tells him that he has to apologize because he was wrong. He says Roman is not next, when it comes to the Universal championship, Goldberg is next. He drops the microphone as both men stand face to face.
