Show Notes – Opening MVP & Lashley promo about WWE title Elimination Chamber match & interruption responses by Rollins, Riddle, Theory, Styles, & Lesnar dragged too long. Street Profits backstage show read rundown segment was a bit corny. Tommoaso Ciampa’s surprise appearance on commentary was nice. Street Profits vs. Dirty Dawgs was somewhat dull. Kevin Owens taped backstage promo about him bashing Texas was interesting. US title was a solid back-and-forth match despite being a bit sluggish at times. RAW Women’s title contract signing segment about Lynch becoming very desperate to keep her title & Lita’s response about wanting to dethrone Lynch was splendid. Ripley vs. Nikki portion of the Gauntlet was somewhat dull. Morgan’s face buster counter of Ripley’s powerbomb attempt was nice. Ripley vs. Morgan portion was mostly decent. Doudrop’s Saito suplex to Ripley was nice. Ripley vs. Doudrop was a pretty good hard hitting portion. Belair’s Rock style bonce sell of Ripley’s missile dropkick was a bit funny. Belair’s spinebuster & KOD finisher combo to Ripley was nice. Ripley vs. Belair was a really good hard fought action portion. Women’s Gauntlet was a good back-and-forth match overall, especially the latter half. RK-Broga Party backstage segments were goofy. Gable’s bridging German to Dominik was smooth. Rey’s sliding Code Red to Gable on the outside was nice. Mysterios vs. Alpha Academy was a solid match despite dragging a bit long. Alexa Bliss therapy segments about her new happy outlook, destroyed Lilly doll, & replica Lilly were a bit corny overall. Ouch at Rollins’ back after landing right on a monitor from Orton’s back drop onto the announcer table. Orton’s powerslam counter of Rollins’ stomp was cool. Rollins vs. Orton was a good action filled match despite the ending shenanigans by Alpha Academy. This week’s Elimination Chamber 2022 go-home show was mostly average overall.

Show Notes – D’Angelo’s Falcon Arrow to Dunne onto a trash can was nice. Dunne’s running powerbomb to D’Angelo through a table was nice. Weaponized Steel Cage opener was a good hardcore style bout. Cora Jade & Raquel Gonzalez training montage segment was decent. NXT Women’s Tag title was decent at best despite the flat ending. TA’s tag title reign has been mostly a dud so far. Briggs & Jensen’s bar segment about Jensen’s “Friend Zone” date night was lame. LA Knight & Grayson Waller promo about Waller’s restraining order & trying to get Knight arrested for breaking it, Knight’s counter evidence, & brawl was all right. Hartwell & Pirotta’s backstage locker room segment about their Tag title loss was okay but Pirotta accepting Duke Hudson’s date offer was interesting. Hayes’ springboard reverse guillotine leg drop to Grimes was nice. Grimes’ crossbody counter of Hayes’ crossbody was cool. Hayes & Grimes’ slugfest exchange was nice. Grimes’ Side Effect counter of Hayes’ rana was cool. Hayes’ Lungblower & springboard clothesline combo to Grimes was cool. Grimes’ Poison Rana to Hayes was sweet. NA title was a great back-and-forth action filled match. Julius’ pounce to Lee on the apron sending him flying into the announcer’s table was cool. MSK’s Swanton & Twisting Splash combo to Julius was cool. Lee’s slingshot & Carter’s superkick & double foot stomp to Julius was nice. Julius’ catch & slam counter of Carter’s dive to the outside was sweet. Men’s Dusty Tag Finals was a very good back-and-forth action match. Breakker’s rolling grab & delayed vertical suplex to Escobar was nice. Escobar’s neckbreaker to Breakker via ropes assist was nice. Escobar’s Tornado DDT to Breakker was nice. Breakker’s vicious looking spear to Escobar was cool. NXT title was a really good back-and-forth action filled match. This week’s Vengeance Day 2022 special was very enjoyable overall, especially the latter half.
Friday Night SmackDown (Feb. 18)

Show Notes – Opening Deville, Charlotte Flair, Naomi, & Ronda Rousey tag match contract signing segment about them bickering & “arm tied behind the back” stip for Rousey was dreadful. WWE not editing out Rousey & Flair’s very goofy looking head slam spot on the table was a bit funny though. Ricochet’s suicide dive to Sheamus on the outside was nice. Sheamus’ fall-away slam to Ricochet onto the announcer’s table was cool. Ricochet’s Satellite DDT to Sheamus was nice. Sheamus’ Alabama Slam to Ricochet was nice. Ricochet’s top rope Spanish Fly to Sheamus was cool. Sheamus vs. Ricochet was a quite good back-and-forth action match. Zayn’s backstage interview about Boogs’ absence from the show, his worst year ever issues, & upcoming title match was okay. Undertaker WWE Hall of Fame announcement & career hype vignette was splendid. Goldberg vs. Reigns Universal title match hype video was all right. Uso vs. Ivar was going on decently until the lame DQ ending by Jimmy Uso. Drew McIntyre’s promo about his issues with Happy Corbin & Madcap Moss and listing all the ways he can beat up Moss & interruption responses by Corbin & Moss was decent. Nakamura’s jump kick counter of Zayn’s dive through the post ropes was nice. Zayn’s low dropkick & Blue Thunder Bomb counter of Nakamura’s Kinshasa was nice. IC title was a really good back-and-forth action filled match despite the abrupt ending. Nakamura’s IC title reign was a bust overall, mainly due to Naakamura barely defended the belt in recent months. Aliyah & Ricochet backstage segment about Ricochet’s win over Sheamus & interruption by Zayn about his IC title win was decent despite Ricochet’s stiff delivery of his lines. Reigns & Goldberg face-to-face promo segment about their feud & upcoming Universal title match was decent despite being a bit anti-climatic. This week’s Elimination Chamber 2022 go-home show was mostly average overall.

Show Notes – Matthews’ lariat to Martin spinning him to the mat was nice. Martin managed to get some really nice height with his springboard splash to Matthews on the outside. Martin vs. Matthews opener was a solid back-and-forth match. Rosa’s stiff chops & vicious looking running double stomp afterwards to Shepard was nice. Rosa vs. Shepard was a decent squash style match. Clayton’s high angle release German Suplex to Serpentico spiking his head was nasty looking. Serpentico vs. Clayton was a solid match & Clayton getting his first ever AEW win is interesting. Hobbs’ video promo about his life story, “Who We Are” theme entrance song, & its meaning to him was splendid. Hobb’s stiff suplex style slam to Sydal was nice. Hobbs vs. Sydal was a pretty good match despite the ending shenanigans by Ricky Starks. Caster’s pre-match rap about Joe Rogan, mocking the Dark Order about them being losers and a bunch of bald guys, & Forbidden Door shout out was superb. Silver’s double suplex counter of Garcia & Parker’s team suplex attempt was nice. Grayson’s springboard double DDT to 2point0 via Uno assist was nice. Garcia’s Saito Suplex to Uno bending him in half was cool. Grayson’s Night Falls backbreaker to Garcia looked brutal. 10-Man Tag was an entertaining back-and-forth action match. Conti’s running big boots to Sakura in the corner nailing her square in the head was nice. Conti was lucky to not gotten hurt after almost completely whiffing on her moonsault to Rose on the outside. Women’s Trios match was solid. This week’s show was enjoyable overall.

Show Notes – Dark Order’s rolling slingshot to Khash was nice. Daivari got some really nice height with his top rope splash to Reynolds. Silver’s catch & sit-out powerbomb counter of Daivari’s leap attempt was nice. Dark Order vs. Daivari & Khash opener was a pretty good back-and-forth action bout. Marshall vs. Brink was a mostly solid match despite dragging a bit at times. Caster’s pre-match promo mocking Stewart’s looks and his mom was a bit funny. Caster vs. Stewart was a mostly solid match. Del Sol’s backstage interview about his upcoming match against Bowens & rap diss to The Acclaimed was all right. Sakura’s lengthy delayed Queen’s Gambit backbreaker to Risk was nice. Sakura vs. Risk was a solid bout. Yikes at Sweets shoulder after his very rough landing from Nakazawa’s leg yank from the top rope. Taz & Excalibur cracking jokes & corpsing on commentary was the only good part about a mostly bad Nakazawa vs. Sweets match. Luther’s comedic antics & banter to the ref, 10, & Serpentico was funny. Angels’ stiff knife edge chop to Serpentico & Serpentico’s painful reaction afterwards was nice. Serpentico getting splatted after his failed attempt at body slamming Luther onto Angels was a bit funny. Chaos Project vs. Dark Order was an entertaining comedic based match. Bowens’ video promo about his “Who We Are” theme entrance song, & its meaning to him was great. Caster’s pre-match rap mocking Del Sol for being stinky & his face was a bit funny. Del Sol’s twisting splash to Bowens on the outside was nice. Bowens’ modified airplane spin into a face buster to Del Sol was nice. Del Sol vs. Bowens was a solid back-and-forth action match. This week’s show was average overall.

Danielson’s surfboard & Dragon Sleeper combo to Moriarty was cool. Danielson & Moriarty’s upside down leg lock punches exchange was awesome. Danielson’s shoulder capture suplex to Moriarty was sweet. Danielson’s Busaiku Knee to Moriarty spinning him on the mat was cool. Danielson vs. Moriarty was a great hard hitting action filled bout. Danielson’s post-match promo about his violence challenge to Moriarty and calling out Moxley & response by Moxley about their past history and leaving the door open for an alliance was superb. Keith Lee vignette about his AEW debut & AEW title goal was splendid. Caster’s pre-match rap mocking Wardlow, Nashville hot chicken, & Titans was swell. Wardlow vs. Caster was a solid match. Britt Baker & Martinez backstage interview about Rosa & Baker boasting about herself was okay but Cobra Kai’s sensei surprise appearance was wonderful. Hangman Page & Adam Cole promo segment about AEW title, brawl with ReDragon, & run-in save by Dark Order was fine. Jericho’s Lion Tamer counter of Santana’s cannonball in the corner was cool. Inner Circle tag was a very good action filled match & bit surprised Jericho ate the pin loss. Martinez & Rosa sliding down the table after it didn’t break from Martinez’s Fisherman Buster off the apron was a bit funny. Martinez vs. Rosa was a good hardcore style bout despite being a bit sloppy at times. House of Black promo video about violence & Buddy Matthews tease was splendid. Allin bouncing off the turnbuckle onto the floor from Guevara’s DVD drop was crazy. Guevara’s guillotine Senton to Allin off the ropes was cool. Allin’s Last Supper counter of Guevara’s GTH was cool. Guevara’s cutter counter of Allin’s dive to the outside was great. TNT title was an amazing match despite the ending shenanigans by Andrade. This week’s show was great overall.

Cole’s pump kick to 10 flooring him was nice. 10’s back drop counter of Cole’s Panama Sunrise was nice. 10’s vicious looking discus lariat to Cole bending him in half was cool. Cole vs. 10 opener was a pretty good back-and-forth action match. Punk vs. MJF Dog Collar match hype video was splendid. Hobbs getting some really sweet distance from his running shoulder tackle to Martin launching him from the apron was cool. Hobbs’ yeet toss to Martin back into the ring was cool. Martin’s springboard spinning uppercut to Hobbs was nice. Martin’s tornillo dive to Hobbs on the outside was sweet. Hobbs’ stiff looking spinebuster finisher to Martin was nice. Hobbs vs. Martin was a really good back-and-forth hard hitting action match. Jade Cargill & Matt Hardy backstage segment about Cargill vs. Bunny TBS title match setup was all right. Ouch at Risk after Deeb’s rough and/or botched looking head twist. Deeb vs. Risk was a somewhat decent squash style match. White & Beretta’s split-screen backstage pre-match interview about White entering the “Forbidden Door” and their bad blood issues was all right. Ouch at Beretta’s neck after his hard landing onto the apron from White’s Saito suplex over the ropes. White’s Saito suplex to Beretta bending him in half was cool. Yikes at Beretta after almost completely whiffing on his springboard moonsault to White on the outside. Ouch at White’s head after Beretta’s stiff shotgun dropkick onto the ropes. White’s knee strike counter of Beretta’s spear attempt was cool. Beretta’s half nelson suplex counter of White’s Bladerunner was nice. Beretta’s stiff lariat to White was cool. White vs. Beretta was a very good hard fought action filled match despite the abrupt ending. This week’s show was very enjoyable overall.

Slamovich busting out a Burning Hammer to Dream was cool. Slamovich vs. Dream was a decent jobber destruction squash bout. Austin’s head scissors to Kid tossing him over the ropes was nice. Christian’s moonsault into a double reverse DDT to Austin & Kid was cool. Kid’s spiked Poison Rana to Christian looked nasty. Christian’s 450 stomp to Kid was cool. Austin’s Fold finisher outta nowhere to Christian was nice. Triple threat was a very good action filled match. Kaleb & IInspiration backstage lounge segment about IInspiration sweet talking Kaleb & Kaleb’s worried reaction was okay. Frost got some really nice air with her moonsault to Shaw. Frost vs. Shaw was a solid back-and-forth match. Deonna Purrazzo backstage interview about her Open Challenge series was fine. Sabin’s top rope spiking Tornado DDT to King was cool. King’s spinebuster to Sabin was nice. King’s Tiger Driver to Sabin was sweet. King vs. Sabin was a quite good back-and-forth action match. Maria Kanellis post-match promo mocking Team Impact was okay. Team Impact backstage segment about if they can actually trust Maclin was all right. Women’s Tag was a solid back-and-forth match despite being a bit rough at times. Brian Myers’ final wrestling lesson segment about him being very upset over Learning Tree’s uselessness last week & disbanding the group was interesting. Doering & Tanga Loa’s hoss battle portion of the 6-Man tag was sweet. White’s knife edge chops fest to Young in the corner was nice. Deaner’s face breaker & Young’s elbow drop combo to White was nice. White’s half & half suplex to Young bending him in half was cool. VBD vs. Bullet Club was a pretty good back-and-forth action filled match. This week’s No Surrender 2022 go-home show was enjoyable overall.

Show Notes – Something’s suplex to Bailey tossing him over the ropes onto Austin, Fulton, & Bey on the outside was cool. Something’s powerbomb to Bailey onto Austin was awesome. Bey’s Poison Rana to Something was nice. Bailey’s Shooting Star Press onto Bey to breakup his pin on Austin was cool. Something’s catch & Void finisher counter of Austin’s The Fold attempt was sweet. X-Division #1 Contender’s opener was a very entertaining action packed match. JONAH vs. Taurus was a good hard hitting hoss battle. White’s twisting suplex to Young was nice. Young’s DVD to White spiking his head was cool. White’s snap Saito to Young was sweet. Young’s piledriver to White onto the apron was cool. White’s half & half suplex & Bladerunner finisher combo to White was nice. Young vs. White was a very good back-and-forth action filled match. ROH Women’s title was a pretty good back-and-forth match. Digital Media title match was going on well until the buzzkill low blow DQ ending by Grace. Gallows’ chokeslam to Loa on the floor was cool. White’s sneak attack to Tonga is interesting. Impact Tag title was a pretty good back-and-forth match despite the ending shenanigans by Bey & White. GOD getting kicked out of Bullet Club & replaced with Good Bros is very interesting. Knockouts title was mostly good despite the ending shenanigans by Savannah Evans & Chelsea Green. Eddie Edwards getting taken out by Honor No More & replaced with Willie Mack is interesting. Morrissey & Moose’s slugfest to start off their match was nice. Moose’s Uranage to Morrissey though a table on the outside was nice. Moose & Morrissey’s stiff chops exchange in the corner was sweet. Moose’s spear to Morrissey bending him in half was cool. Impact World title was a very good hard hitting action filled match. Swann’s head scissors grab to Taven on the top rope tossing him onto Bennett was cool. Bennett’s brainbuster to Swann was nice. Maclin’s Tree of Woe spear to Taven in the corner was nice. PCO’s senton to Mack on the apron was crazy. Vincent’s top rope Redrum to Mack & Swann on the outside was cool. PCO’s moonsault to a bunch of guys on the outside was cool. Edwards attacking Rhino to help out HNM & joining the group is interesting. HNM vs. Team Impact 10-Man Tag was a quite good back-and-forth action match. No Surrender 2022 was a very enjoyable show overall.

Show Notes – DKC’s stiff chop to Pearl flooring him was nice. Pearl’s Side Russian Leg Sweep & Gibson’s kneebreaker combo to DKC was cool. Knight’s standing twisting Frog Splash to Gibson was nice. LA Dojo vs. Midnight Heat opener was a good back-and-forth action match despite the somewhat messy & forced pinfall shenanigans ending. Kidd’s Saito suplex to Rosser was nice & same for Rosser’s lariat to Kidd flooring him afterwards. Kidd & Rosser’s stiff forearms strikes exchange was nice. Kidd & Rosser’s stiff chops exchange with sweat flying off the chests of both guys after each chop was cool. Kidd & Rosser’s stiff slaps exchange was sweet. Rosser’s gutbuster to Kidd outta nowhere was cool. Kidd’s stiff lariat & brainbuster combo to Rosser was cool. Kidd vs. Rosser was a great grueling hard fought action filled battle. Lethal being the surprise opponent for White was awesome. White’s Saito suplex counter of Lethal’s lariat attempt was nice. Lethal’s stiff lariat to White was nice. Lethal’s rolling Torture Rack & elbow drop counter to White was cool. White’s Flatliner counter of Lethal’s lariat attempt was nice. White’s knees buckling KO sell of Lethal’s superkick was cool. Lethal’s stiff chop to White sending him tumbling to the mat was sweet. White’s chop block & Cobra Clutch suplex counter of Lethal’s Lethal Injjection was cool. White’s Half nelson suplex to Lethal spiking him was sweet. White vs. Lethal was a great back-and-forth action filled match. This week’s show was mostly great overall.
