New Japan Pro Wrestling’s “Switchblade” Jay White made his first appearance in AEW on Dynamite tonight, helping Adam Cole and the Young Bucks attack Trent and Rocky Romero backstage.
As Trent and Romero were being interviewed, Cole and the Young Bucks attacked them. The Bucks gave the BTE Trigger to Romero, then were going to hit Trent with one, but White popped onto the screen, casually grabbed Trent and tossed him into the side of a truck. He looked at Cole and the Bucks and walked away as Jim Ross said, “Jay White in AEW… Stay tuned, folks. Stay tuned.”

Later in the show backstage, the Young Bucks seemed annoyed at Cole for not telling them that White was showing up, saying that White was one of Kenny Omega’s biggest rivals in New Japan.
White, a former IWGP Heavyweight Champion, is one of the top stars in NJPW.
