Detailed demographic and quarter-hours breakdowns were not available in this week’s issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the main reason for NXT’s increases this week was due to the very large increases in both overall key demographic and younger key demographic viewership groups, which were up 49.5% and 145.5% respectively compared to last week’s show. Despite the large increases, Meltzer reported that this week’s overall viewership was the second lowest ever in NXT history since its move to USA Network.

More on AEW Dynamite Viewership for February 16th

AEW drew 869,000 viewers and a 0.31 key demographic rating on TBS. AEW’s key demographic ranking for that night was 3rd place.

Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the main reason for AEW’s declines this week was due to much lower than usual viewership numbers for the lead-in programming on TBS, which was the lowest since AEW’s move to the network at 1,133,000 viewers. This reportedly was down 20.9% in overall viewership and down 22.9% in key demographic viewership compared to the usual average for AEW’s lead-in programming on the network. Another main reason reportedly was due to the large declines in AEW’s Teenagers and younger key demographic viewership groups, which were down 23.1% and 31.1% compared to last week’s show. Meltzer reported that AEW’s large declines from their younger viewership groups caused the median viewership age to rise to 50.3 years old for this week’s show.

Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the main reason for AEW’s mixed results that week was due to the larger than usual decline in AEW’s older male key demographic viewership, which was down 21.2% compared to the prior week’s show. This was enough to offset the gains AEW had with their younger key demographic and overall female key demographic viewership groups, which was up 10% for the former compared to the prior week’s show.
