In-Ring: The Usos, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins

WWE SmackDown kicks off with The Usos in the ring. They talk about how they are there to acknowledge the longest reigning WWE Universal champion. Jey says Roman Reigns has held the title for 508 days. Jimmy talks about how Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins or Brock Lesnar held the title for that long. They welcome Roman Reigns to the ring, calling him the head of the table and the tribal chief.

Roman Reigns makes his way down to the ring as he tells Nashville to acknowledge him. Jimmy says they are going to watch the highlights of the most dominant and decorated WWE champion. A video package airs showing Roman’s title reign.

We cut back to the arena and Seth’s music hits and out comes Seth Rollins. He asks what kind of party it wuld be without Seth Rollins as he congratulates Roman for being the longest reigning Universal champion. He says the title reign will come to an end very shortly and how they can also celebrate that Roman made an honest man out of Seth. He tells Roman that he sent The Usos to Raw to do his dirty work for him. If he had a message to send, he has his number and to text him.

Seth says but they should be celebrating the longest reigning SmackDown Tag Team champions in history, The Usos. Seth says The Usos are the corner stone of their blood line. They are the ones who hooked him up, just like he and Moxley did in the Shield. He says to have a celebration for the Usos. He chants Usos as some fans chant with him.

Roman calls Seth little brother. He asks him if John Cena wrote that promo for him. He tells Seth that their match at the Royal Rumble will be one on one, he has his word. Seth says is he going to say believe that because once upon a time, his word was as good as gold. Seth tells him to put his money where his mouth his. He says tonight, he can find a partner and they can beat The Usos. And when he does, The Usos are banned from ringside at the Rumble.

Jey accepts the challenge. He tells Seth no one backstage is crazy enough to team with him. Seth says he has a point, not too many people like him. Out comes Kevin Owens as he and Seth hug.

Roman tells them to cut the music and it’s not final until the Tribal Chief says it is. He calls Seth a betting man and to raise the stakes. When Seth loses tonight, that means he loses his match at the Royal Rumble and Roman is going on vacation until WrestleMania. Seth accepts.

Kofi Kingston vs. Madcap Moss

Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss are in the ring. Corbin says they have been on a roll. They beat up Drew McIntyre and last week, Madcap defeated Kofi Kingston. Madcap tells a bad Kofi joke. Out comes Kofi Kingston and with him is Big E.

The bell rings and we are under way. A shoulder tackle by Madcap takes Kofi down. Madcap sends Kofi to the corner but Kofi jumps off the second rope and hits him with a drop kick. Corbin gets on the ring apron and distracts Kofi as Madcap hits him from behind. He throws Kofi to the outside of the ring. Madcap throws Kofi towards the ring steps but Kofi jumps over the steps, jumps onto the steps and onto Madcap. Big E throws Corbin into the ring steps.

Back from commercial, Madcap with a spinebuster in the middle of the ring. He runs towards Kofi but Kofi moves out of the way and Madcap runs into the turnbuckle. A drop kick by Kofi. He climbs the top rope and hits Madcap with a hurricanrana. He goes for the cover but Madcap kicks out. Kofi to the ropes as Madcap lifts Kofi up and slams him onto the mat. He goes for the cover but Kofi kicks out. Madcap lifts Kofi up but Kofi lands on his feet, Kofi with a kick to the side of the head. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: Kofi Kingston

Natalya vs. Aliyah

Summer Rae is in attendance. She will be taking part in the women’s Royal Rumble match.

The bell rings and we are under way. Natalya throws Aliyah in the corner. A snap suplex by Natalya as she goes for the cover but Aliyah kicks out. Natalya goes for another suplex but Aliyah rolls her up but Natalya kicks out. Natalya with a clothesline. She goes for the cover but Aliyah kicks out. Natalya picks her up as she slams her shoulders onto Aliyah’s back. Aliyah rolls her up but Natalya kicks out. Natalya with a right hand as she stomps on her in the corner. Natalya with kicks in the corner as the referee counts to five and calls for the bell.

Winner: By disqualification, Aliyah

Natalya with right hands after the match but out comes Xia Li to the ring. Li with a kick knocking Natalya down and to the outside.

Los Lotharios vs. The Viking Raiders

The bell rings and we are under way. Carrillo and Ivar are in the ring and a right hand by Ivar. He tags Erik into the match. Erik is sent to the ropes and Garza with a knee off the ring apron. Garza is tagged into the ring. Carrillo is tagged back into the ring as they double team Erik. Carrillo goes for the cover but Erik kicks out. Carrillo goes for a splash but Erik moves out of the way. Ivar and Garza are tagged in. Ivar with a side walk slam.

Ivar with a splash. In comes Carrillo and a kick to the face takes Carrillo down. Garza slams Ivar down. He goes for the cover but Ivar kicks out. Erik is tagged in as they double team The Lotharios. The Viking Experience on Garza. Erik goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winners: The Viking Raiders

Championship Contender’s Match
Charlotte Flair vs. Naomi

Before the bell rings, Sonya Deville gets in the ring. She will be the referee for the match. Sonya asks to ring the bell.

Sonya stands in front of Naomi as Charlotte hits her with a spinning elbow. Flair slams Naomi face first into the mat. A leg scissor head lock by Flair. Chops to the chest onto Naomi. Flair goes for another one but Naomi kicks her away. Naomi goes for a drop kick but Flair catches her by the legs and gets her in a Boston crab. Naomi gets out of it as Flair goes for a figure four. Naomi kicks her away onto Sonya and Sonya falls to the outside of the ring. Naomi hits her with the Rear View and goes for the cover. Sonya is on the outside standing up. Naomi yells at Sonya as Flair hits Naomi on the knee from behind. Flair goes for the figure four as Sonya gets in the ring and calls for the bell.

Winner: Charlotte Flair

Backstage: Kevin Owens & Seth Rollins

Kayla Braxton is backstage and in come Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins. She asks Seth why he is willing to put his title opportunity on the line. Owens decides to answer it and says if it wasn’t for The Usos, he would be the longest reigning Universal champion of all time. And the thought of them doing the same thing to his best friend tears him up inside.

Rollins tells him that Owens has become an honest man. He says the risk is worth the reward. He says he might be able to beat Roman with The Usos. But if he is one on one against Roman, he is reminded of an old saying. Death, taxes and Seth Rollins defeating Roman Reigns.

Out comes Sami Zayn to the ring. He says he will prove that anything Johnny Knoxville can do, he can do better. He has a table full of self defense weapons. He grabs the first one which is a taser. He puts it on his calf and tasers himself. He says that was not fun but it was a piece of cake. He puts it to level two. He says this level of voltage is what Johnny used to use on himself.

He puts him towards his heart. He tasers himself and falls onto the ropes. Out comes Johnny Knoxville to the ring. Knoxville tells Sami that he was concerned of Johnny aking a mockery of his profession in the ring but that is what Sami is doing to his. He tells Sami he has been around a lot of these weapons and something seems off. The fans chant Johnny. Sami says nothing is off and he can see it from far.

Johnny grabs it from Sami and he says it is legit. But somebody forgot to turn it on. Johnny says he just fixed it for him. Knoxville tasers Sami and Sami falls onto the mat. He gets Sami back up and tells him he will see him at the Rumble as he throws him over the top rope.

Backstage: Eric Bischoff, Adam Pearce, Sonya Deville

Adam Pearce is backstage with Eric Bischoff. In comes Sonya. She tells Eric she didn’t know he was going to be there tonight. Adam says Sonya overstepped tonight. He says he and Eric spoke and he will suggest to management that she and Naomi have a match one on one next week. Sonya doesn’t look happy and tells him to let her know what they say as she leaves. Eric tells Adam that was leadership.

Sheamus vs. Ricochet

The bell rings and we are under way. Sheamus throws Ricochet in corner and right hands followed by an uppercut. Sheamus with an Irish curse back breaker. A knee to the back onto Ricochet. Sheamus with a head lock but Ricochet with a jaw breaker countering it. Ricochet with a kick to the side of the head.

Ricochet runs to the ropes and Sheamus with a back breaker. Ricochet on the ring apron and Sheamus with the 10 beats of the Bodhran. He throws Ricochet back into the ring. Sheamus runs towards Ricochet but Ricochet moves out of the way and Sheamus on the ring apron. Ricochet wtith a dropkick takes Sheamus to the outside. Ricochet with a suicide dive but Sheamus hits him with a knee to the face. Sheamus throws Ricochet back into the ring. Sheamus hits him with the Brogue Kick. He goes for the cover and gets the pin.

Winner: Sheamus

Backstage: Jeff Jarrett, Shinsuke Nakamura, Rick Boogs

Rick Boogs and Shinsuke Nakamura are backstage and in comes Jeff Jarrett. He tells Boogs he plays a great guitar. He asks Boogs what his name is and Boogs is excited that Jarrett wants to know his name.

The Usos vs. Seth Rollins & Kevin Owens

The bell rings and we are under way. Seth is in the ring with Jimmy. Seth goes for a roll up but Jimmy kicks out. Jimmy rolls out of the ring. Jimmy gets back in the ring and Jey is tagged in. A head lock take down by Jey followed by a super kick. He gets Seth in the corner and Jimmy is tagged in. They double team Seth in the corner. Jey is tagged back in and they double team Seth in the corner. Jimmy is tagged back in and they double team Seth in the corner. Jimmy grabs Seth but Seth pushes him in the corner. Owens is tagged in and they double team Jimmy in the corner. Seth is tagged back in and they double team Jimmy in the corner. Seth with a bodyslam.

Seth climbs the top rope as Jey distracts Seth and Jimmy trips him up. Jey is tagged in as they double team Seth. Jey stomping on Seth. Jimmy is tagged back in and they double team Seth. Jimmy throws Seth in the corner and he stomps on him. Jimmy runs towards Seth but Seth with a clothesline. Owens is tagged in. Owens with a chop to the chest. He sends Jimmy to the ropes and a right hand knocks him down.

Owens with a senton. He knocks Jey down in the corner. Owens with a cannonball onto Jimmy in the corner. Owens climbs the top rope but Jey gets on the ring apron and Owens kicks him down. Owens goes for a senton off the top rope but Jimmy gets his knees up. Jimmy with a super kick and Owens falls to the outside. Jey is tagged in and he hits Owens with a super kick.

Back from commercial, Jey knocks Seth off the ring apron. He drags Owens towards the corner and stomps on him. Jimmy is tagged back in. A kick to the face by Jimmy followed by right hands. Jimmy goes for a right hand but Owens ducks and hits him with a kick to the side of the head. Jey and Rollins are tagged in. Seth with a slingblade. He clotheslines Jey to the outside of the ring. In comes Jimmy and he throws him to the outside. Seth with a suicide dive onto them both. Seth hits Jey with a flying knee to the face. He goes for the cover but Jey kicks out. Seth with a waistlock but Jey reverses it into a neck breaker.

He goes for the cover but Seth kicks out. He goes for a super kick but Seth kicks him and lifts him up and Jimmy is tagged in. They double team Seth. Jimmy goes for the cover but Seth kicks out. Jimmy gets up and knocks Owens off the ring apron. Jimmy climbs the top rope, he jumps, Seth moves out of the way and Owens is tagged in. Seth knocks Jey to the outside. Owens with a sit down power bomb onto Jey. He goes for the cover but Jey kicks out. Owens climbs the top rope but Jey with a right hand. Jey climbs the second rope but Owens with a suplex. He goes for the cover but Jimmy breaks it up. Seth is tagged in and right hands onto Jimmy as Jey hits him with a super kick. Owens gets in the ring and hits Jey with a stunner.

Jimmy with a super kick onto Owens. Seth with a superkick onto Jimmy. Seth with a neck breaker. Seth with the curb stomp and in comes Roman Reigns who hits Seth with a Superman Punch as the referee calls for the bell.
