More on Jeff Hardy’s House Show Incident This Past Weekend
As noted before, Jeff Hardy was sent home by WWE officials following an incident at this past Saturday’s house show event in Edinburg, Texas. Hardy competed in a Six-man tag team match with Drew McIntyre & Xavier Woods against Roman Reigns & The Usos at the event, which involved Hardy leaving mid-way due to him becoming “more sluggish as the match continued” and being sent home from the rest of WWE’s weekend house show tour afterwards as a result.
The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported in Monday’s Daily Update that the cause of Hardy’s situation is currently not known due to WWE officials have not responded to any questions asked about the incident.
Matt Hardy recently held a gaming stream on Twitch and one of the topics discussed included the status of his brother Jeff following this past weekend’s incident.
“I did speak to Jeff for a little bit today. He’s okay. He’s good. I think he’ll be fine. once again, this isn’t my business. If he wants to go into it with more detail, he’ll do it himself. Jeff is okay. He is at home and okay. It’s not my business or story to tell or explain. Besides that, it’s not my story to tell because it’s not my perspective. I love my brother and I want him to be okay and healthy.”
