As noted before, Tommy Dreamer was suspended this past September by Impact Wrestling following his controversial statements defending Ric Flair’s sexual assault of a flight attendant during the September 16th “Plane Ride from Hell” episode of Dark Side of the Ring.
Fightful Select reported that Dreamer returned from his suspension to Impact at a recent set of television tapings and resumed his backstage duties for the company. It was reported that Dreamer was not used as an on-screen character for the tapings and instead primarily worked in an agent and producer role.
In regards to Dreamer’s suspension, it was reported that he was gone for just one set of tapngs which equaled to around a little over a month’s worth of television shows for Impact.
It was also reported that while Dreamer had intital heat backstage over his controversial comments on the “Plane Ride from Hell” episode, sources spoken to within Impact stated that they thought the “punishment fit the offense” for his incident.
