D’Amore, Chelsea Green, Elisha Edwards, & Vidal backstage segment about Knockouts Ultimate X & Vidal’s wide eyed scared reaction to facing off against JONAH was a bit funny. JONAH’s jumping senton & top rope splash combo splatting Vidal looked brutal while their match was a decent squash. JONAH’s post-match promo about Impact title plans & Josh Alexander was fine. Best – AAA Mega Championship Five-way match.
Worst – The shenanigans riddle awful finish to the La Empresa vs. Dave the Clown, Murder Clown, & Chessman match and Matt Striker & Carlos Ocha’s mostly dull job with the English commentary for the show.
Show Notes – Women’s Lumberjack match opener was a mostly entertaining train wreck, more so due to all of the goofy shenanigans. Los Vipers vs. NGD vs. El Ponder del Norte was a pretty good hardcore match despite the flat ending. La Empressa crew forgetting to light the table on fire for the super powerbomb spot to Murder Clown was funny. La Empressa vs. Dave the Clown, Murder Clown, & Chessman was somewhat decent at best but also a mess of a hardcore match with a very flat ending. Willie Mack surprise appearance was sweet. Mack & Lee’s Electric Chair & cutter combo to Lee was cool. Dralístico’s springboard Destroyer to Kid was sweet. Lee’s powerbomb to Mack was impressive. Dralístico springboard hurricanrana to Kid & Lee’s Tree of Woe double stomp to Mack was cool. Mack & Kid vs. La Facción Ingobernable was a very good back-and-forth action filled match. FTR’s double dropkick to a ladder onto Penta’s nuts was funny. Wheeler’s botched DDT to Fenix on the apron was rough. Fenix’s cutter to Harwood & Wheeler’s Gory Bomb counter of Fenix’s cutter afterwards was cool. Penta & Harwood’s low blows to each other on the ladder was funny. AAA Tag title Ladder match was quite good. Los Mercenarios & L.A. Park vs. Psycho Clown, Pagano, & Velasquez was quite good despite the botched distraction ending. Fish’s catch & T-Bone suplex of Sol’s springboard kick was nice. Vikingo’s rope walk into a Spanish Fly by Sol was cool. Lethal’s catch & counter of Vikingo’s springboard attack into a spiked springboard cutter was sweet. Fish’s Avalanche Falcon Arrow to Lethal was cool. Bandido’s springboard rebound German suplex to Fish was nice. Viking’s springboard splash outta nowhere to Sol was cool. Bandido’s double Fireman’s Carry to Fish & Lethal was impressive. AAA Mega title was a great action packed match. Triplemania Regia II was mostly enjoyable overall despite being rough a at times.
