In-Ring: Tommaso Ciampa, Bron Breakker

NXT Men’s Champion Tommaso Ciampa is in the ring. Ciampa says he has a little to get off his chest. As the champion, you are the hunted and everyone has their eyes on the title you hold over your head. As NXT Champion, I am a little different than any other champion who has held this title. The champion does the hunting and Bron Breakker is the hunted. You are probably going to come out to interrupt me with your music. You don’t have to interrupt me, I am inviting you to the ring to talk to you face to face.

Bron Breakker makes his way to the ring. Ciampa tells Breakker he does not need a microphone. I know what you are thinking. I know what you are going to say. At War Games, you made a statement. You speared me through a table and shattered it to pieces. You pressed the champion over your had and drove me into the mat and pinned my shoulders, one, two, three. You don’t want another shot at my title, you earned a shot at my title. On January 4th, Bron Breakker versus Tommaso Ciampa for the title. That is what you are thinking.

I agree with you. You deserve this. Let’s hope you don’t drown like you did the first time. I want you to remember that in two weeks, you are going to get your second opportunity. Some don’t even get one chance and you are getting a second chance. You are special. You earned it. I want you to remember what I said about jumping into the deep end. I exposed you for your inexperience in the ring and in life. You have the tools. You are super intense and you have strength for days. You are not ready to be a champion in my NXT. I am talking about people like Sami Zayn, KO, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Finn Balor. Guys like Tommaso Ciampa. Guys who spent a decade getting to WWE and then spending a decade in WWE.

You have had ten to twenty matches? You are doing great, but I don’t know if you are ready for this. I am talking about the bright lights and the weight of the world on your shoulders. It is too much too soon. Look at what happened at Halloween Havoc. One mistake, one slip off the ropes and it was gone. You won’t let a mistake like that happen again. There is nothing better for you than for you to walk out as champion on January 4th. You are going to take the title home to your dad and family. They will all be barking. He did it all by himself. You are a champion.

Then reality hits (Ciampa slaps Breakker) and says that reality is Tommaso Ciampa, the greatest NXT Champion looking in your face.

Bron presses Ciampa over his head but then he lets Ciampa land on his feet. Breakker takes the title belt and tells that blood is in the water and the shark will eat you alive in two weeks.

We see an Instagram video from Grayson Waller about AJ Styles. He says that AJ is hanging around too long. He tells him to get a hair cut.

Street Fight
Raquel Gonzalez vs. Dakota Kai

We see Raquel Gonzalez walking in the back but Dakota Kai attacks Gonzalez with a storage case and they fight in the back. Kai with punches and forearms to Gonzalez. Kai gets a metal pole but Gonzalez blocks it . Kai goes for a head scissors but Gonzalez blocks her and swings her into the scaffolding. Gonzalez hits Kai with a pipe. Gonzalez runs Kai into the metal fencing. Kai escapes and sends Gonzalez into the fencing. Kai with a bicycle kick and a second one.

Gonzalez grabs the scaffold from Mallrats and runs Kai into the fence. Gonzalez hot shots Kai onto a storage case.

Kai tries to get away and put stuff in Gonzalez’ way and throw things at her. Gonzalez with a boot to the head. Gonzalez tries to squish Kai with a storage case but Kai moves. Kai hits Gonzalez with a few trash cans. Kai with a thrust kick to Gonzalez and Gonzalez is down.

Kai gets a table and officials tell Kai they have to get to the ring. Kai sets up the table but Gonzalez hits Kai with a cart. Gonzalez runs Kai into the loading dock gate.Kai sends Gonzalez into some equipment and then Kai goes outside.

Gonzalez follows as they enter the most dangerous parking lot in sports entertainment. Kai sends Gonzalez into the wall. Gonzalez picks up Kai and runs her into an SUV. Kai tries to get away but Gonzalez grabs her and sends Kai into a guardrail. Gonzalez charges at Kai but misses when Kai moves and Gonzalez goes into the guardrail. Kai sends Gonzalez back into the building. Kai with forearms and she sends Gonzalez into a ladder. Kai with forearms and Gonzalez with punches as they finally get into the arena. Kai punches Gonzalez and connects with forearms.

They make it to ringside and Kai with a forearm. Gonzalez with a forearm. Gonzalez backs Kai into the apron. Gonzalez misses a forearm and hits the ring post. Kai with chops.

Gonzalez hits Kai with the hood to the announce table. Gonzalez grabs the steps but misses and Kai with a bicycle kick and Gonzalez falls onto the steps. Kai sends Gonzalez into the steps. Kai with a forearm and she sends Gonzalez into the plexiglass. Kai with forearms. Gonzalez with forearms and sends Kai into the apron. Gonzalez sends Kai over her head and Kai lands on the apron and kicks Gonzalez. Gonzalez gets Kai on her shoulders and Kai stomps Gonzalez’ head into the ring step. Kai pulls out a table.

Gonzalez pushes the table into Kai. Gonzalez hot shots Kai onto the top of the chair in the ring. Gonzalez grabs Kai when Kai goes after Gonzalez against the announce table but Kai with a head scissors that sends both of them over the top rope tot eh floor. Kai puts the trash can on Gonzalez and hits a double stomp off the apron. Kai goes for a reverse DDT but Gonzalez blocks it and power bombs Kai onto the ring steps. Kai punches Gonzalez but Gonzalez chokes Kai against the announce table. Gonzalez puts Kai in the ring and Kai kicks Gonzalez in the head.

Gonzalez with a boot to the head. Gonzalez gets Kai up for a Chingona Bomb and hits it onto the trash can for the three count.

Winner: Raquel Gonzalez

After the match, Raquel Gonzalez says she is sick and tired of waiting. She demands her title rematch against Mandy Rose and she says she is not leaving the ring until she gets it.

We are back with a Tony D’Angelo video package. He says if you are honest you are dangerous so he must be the most dangerous man. I have smacked around anyone who got in my way. I am not afraid of you Pete Dunne. I made my way into War Game. if you are the baddest man, how bad are you when I took your mouthpiece. You tried to embarrass me. Two can play at that game.

In-Ring: Raquel Gonzalez, Cora Jade, Toxic Attraction

Raquel is still in the ring and she is continuing to call out Mandy Rose.

Cora Jade comes out and she congratulates Raquel on her win. She says she knows that Raquel is calling out Mandy. As much as you want your title back, and you deserve your rematch. As much as you want that, I want revenge on Toxic Attraction for what they did to me. The way to kill Toxic Attraction is to take the head off the snake. Cora says she knows that Mandy doesn’t want to put the title on the line against her.

Raquel says that Cora has guts and they went to war and came out on the other side together. When it comes to the title, it is every woman for themselves. I took care of one problem tonight. It does not matter who gets in my way, I will go through them to get my title back.

Cora says not if I get there first.

Mandy Rose is on the HHH Tron and she says that Raquel was champion for quite some time but before I got her. Cora, you are trying to do this with a fluke victory. You are envious of what i have done for the women’s division. I am feeling festive that it will be a Triple Threat Match at New Year’s Evil. You will also get an ass whipping.

Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin attack Cora and hit her with a kendo stick. Jacy and Gigi send Raquel through the table in the ring.

Backstage: Joe Gacy and Harland

We take a look back at Harland’s attack on Brian Kendrick in the most dangerous stairwell in sports entertainment.

Joe Gacy and Harland want to make a public apology. We go to Joe and Harland. Joe says Harland wants to apologize for his actions last week. He is a sensitive man and too shaken up to speak. You can see the regret on his face. They would like to apologize but after everything that Harland has been through, Mr. Kendrick, you triggered Harland back to a time when he was not as loved. We do not condone violence, but Mr. Kendrick used offensive language and put his hands on Harland. He called Harland a freak. We did what we were told to do. You only have yourself to blame, Mr. Kendrick. Joe says he hopes that everyone can grow from this event.

Backstage: Grizzled Young Veterans

James shows Zack what the Creeds were doing on Instagram. Zack says he hates cocky and arrogant teams like the Creeds. James asks about the plan. Zack says they are not going to beat the Creeds with their muscles, but with their minds.

Backstage: Indi Hartwell, Persia Pirotta, Grayson Waller

We are back and Persia tells Indi that their match tonight was postponed.

Grayson Waller shows up and Indi yells at him for what he did to Dexter.

Persia tells Grayson he better worry about AJ Styles.

Grayson tells them to watch what he does tonight because the Grayson Waller Effect is the future.

Grizzled Young Veterans vs. The Creed Brothers

Gibson and Julius start things off and Julius goes for the leg but Gibson escapes. They lock up and Gibson with a side head lock. Julius with a fireman’s carry to counter a hip toss. Brutus tags in and Julius with a fireman’s carry and Julius gives Brutus a gutwrench suplex onto Gibson. Julius and Brutus with fireman’s carries to Gibson. Gibson kicks Julius away. Julius with an Irish whip but Drake absorbs the impact in the corner and Gibson with a clothesline. Drake tags in and hits a double sledge to the back off the ropes. Drake with an Irish whip and elbow into the corner. Gibson tags in and connects with a clothesline. Drake with a leg lariat for a near fall.

Julius with a suplex. Drake tags in and he punches Julius. Julius with a punch and Drake with a side head lock. Brutus tags in and sends Drake to the mat. Brutus and Julius with knees to the ribs. Brutus with a Doctor Bomb for a near fall. Gibson tags in and he kicks Brutus in the back. Drake hits Brutus from behind to send him to the floor. Drake with a pescado as Gibson hits a back breaker.

Ikemen Jiro and KUSHIDA make their way to ringside with a table to do commentary as we go to commercial.

We are back and Gibson with a cobra clutch on Brutus. Drake tags in and he connects with a forearm. Drake with a reverse chin lock. Drake with a front face lock to Brutus. Brutus power his way to the corner and back drops Drake and tags in Julius. Julius with a shoulder to the knee and a drop kick after knocking Gibson off the apron. Brutus tags in and Brutus with a power slam for a near fall. Drake with a forearm and Gibson pulls Brutus to the floor. Drake with a suicide dive onto Brutus. Gibson sets to power bomb Brutus through the not an announce table but Jiro and KUSHIDA block the table. Gibson and Drake hit the Creeds from behind and then KUSHIDA and Jiro get involved. The referee calls for the bell.

No Contest

The three teams fight on the floor and then Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs join in the fun.

Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams are with McKenzie. She asks if Trick will get over his fear of Dexter. Carmelo says that Trick is not afraid of him. Trick says that he will take care of Dexter, but Dexter shows up on a monitor and Trick freaks out as we go to commercial.

Backstage: Io Shirai & Zoey Stark, Elektra Lopez

We are back with Io Shirai and Zoey Stark and she thanks Io for being there with her but Io says she is here for her massage.

Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde show up and try to get treatment first.

Elektra Lopez shows up and says that we know that Io is crazy but she is not afraid of her.

Io says something in Japanese and Elektra leaves.

Zoey thanks Io for standing up for her and says that Io really likes her and Io says she doesn’t.

Dexter Lumis vs. Trick Williams

Lumis blocks a bicycle kick from Williams and Lumis pushes Williams to the mat. Lumis crawls on the mat and Williams goes to the floor. Lumis with a Thesz Press and punches. Lumis with an elbow drop and he works on the neck.

We see Diamond Mine on the HBKBalcony.

Lumis with an uppercut. Williams with a drop kick and a kick to the back. Williams slams Lumis’ head into the mat and then sends him to the apron. Williams misses a baseball slide and is caught in the ring skirt. Lumis with a thrust kick and then Lumis gives Hayes a thumbs up as Roderick Strong attacks Hayes and they fight to the back.

Lumis with a punch but Williams kicks the ropes and it hurts Lumis’ shoulder. Williams with a slam for a near fall. Williams with a punch and another slam. Williams with a reverse chin lock. Lumis with elbows but Williams takes Lumis to the mat and gets a near fall. Williams returns to the reverse chin lock. Lumis with an arm drag to escape followed by punches. Lumis with a clothesline into the corner followed by a bulldog. Lumis with a belly-to-back suplex and then he hits a leg drop. Lumis with punches and kicks and the referee warns Lumis. Trick tries to hit Lumis with his shoe but Lumis with a sit out choke slam into Silence and Williams drops the shoe and passes out.

Winner: Dexter Lumis

After the match, Grayson Waller hits Lumis in the back with a chair.

We see AJ Styles arriving at the building and Waller takes a seat in the ring.

Backstage: Pete Dunne

We are back and Pete Dunne says that no one in NXT is like him. He is a 15 year veteran and he is only 28. He mentions his accomplishments and he is far from done. These new guys are young and hungry, but he is the same age as them and he is hungrier. Tony, you think you got one over me at War Games, but look at what I did to you last week. I will make sure you never forget I am the baddest man.

In-Ring: Grayson Waller, AJ Styles

Grayson Waller is in the ring and he says he hates when WWE Superstars get inducted into the Hall of Fame and they thank the pathetic WWE Universe. Like your opinion matters. Waller says when he gets inducted into the Hall of Fame, he is going to say ‘you’re welcome’ and ‘I told you so’. I have proven that I am THE NXT Superstar.

AJ Styles’ music interrupts and he has made his NXT debut.

Waller says that he was able to bring AJ Styles to NXT.

AJ tells Waller to shut up. AJ says this is THE Grayson Waller, the biggest jackass in NXT. AJ says he saw Waller talking trash and he asks if he feels good about himself.

Waller says he has gone from ‘that kid has potential’ to THE NXT SUPERSTAR. Waller asks AJ why is he here. Does he want to be the veteran to help out the new guy? I know why you are here. Your meal ticket left you last night and you need a new tag partner to make you relevant on Raw for a few weeks. Waller says he is a singles guy.

AJ says you called him out to get the AJ Styles rub. I have seen your matches. The gloves and one elbow pad. I don’t know if it is Grayson Waller or AJ Styles I am watching. You have potential and you are cocky, but a future superstar? I can see Bron Breakker or Tony D. He can see it in Carmelo Hayes. The jury is still out on you. Your problem is that you would rather look good and lose than look bad and win. That is your problem.

Waller asks AJ if he saw War Games. He carried his team to a win.

AJ says you don’t care about wins or losses, you care about swipes and likes.

Waller asks AJ why he has this attitude when your insurance policy is not here and you are in my ring.

AJ tells Waller to do it. You had a good three weeks and think you are a superstar? Try being phenomenal for 20 years. Do what you say you are going to do.

Waller takes off his shirt and then he leaves the ring. Waller says he’ll let Omos get you first. I have next.

Backstage: Malcolm Bivens, Roderick Strong

Malcolm Bivens says that is what happens when you disrespect us. How about the ‘A’ Champion versus THE Champion. Title versus title. Strong tells Hayes he has two weeks to find his balls.

Segment: MSK & Riddle

We are back with the latest from MSK and Riddle. Riddle talks about the power of the scooter and what it means for their journey. Lee says she trusts what Riddle has to say. Carter says a scooter is like a tag team. Riddle says that he has learned so much from MSK that he is going to tell Randy about it. Riddle says he will be with MSK next week on NXT. They ride on the scooters and get hit by a car.

We see Lee and Carter wake up from a dream but they have their Orton and Riddle merchandise.

Riddle shows up and he mentions MSK’s match against Imperium.

Von Wagner vs. Edris Enofe

Enofe with drop kicks but Wagner catches Enofe on a cross body attempt and Wagner with a slam.

We see Robert Stone at ringside.

Enofe with an inside cradle for a near fall. Wagner with a clothesline. Wagner with punches and knees. Enofe with a sunset flip to counter a power bomb for the three count.

Winner: Edris Enofe

After the match, Wagner attacks Enofe on the floor and sends him back into the ring. Wagner with an Olympic Slam to Enofe. Wagner with a short arm clothesline to Enofe.

Backstage: Imperium

Imperium is with McKenzie in the back and she asks them about MSK. Barthel says they destroyed MSK and they are trying to put themselves back together. Aichner says they ran MSK out of town. She asks them if they are a threat. Barthel says they may have found a shaman on their path to enlightenment, but they have a general.

Backstage: Elektra Lopez

Elektra Lopez walks in the back and she says she is not nervous. She is going to destroy Io Shirai.

We see Xyon Quinn in the background as we go to commercial.

Io Shirai vs. Elektra Lopez

They lock up and Lopez with a slam. Lopez with an elbow in the corner and she misses a second one. Io with a leg sweep and then Io chokes Lopez in the corner. Lopez kicks Io out of the corner and Lopez follows with a clothesline. Lopez chokes Io in the ropes. Io with a forearm and Lopez fires back. Lopez with a spinebuster for a near fall. Lopez with a reverse chin lock. Io with a snap mare and shoulder tackle followed by a drop kick. Io with a Tiger Feint Kick and she goes up top and hits a missile drop kick. Io with a running double knee strike in the corner and she gets a near fall.

Io goes to the turnbuckles for a moonsault but Lopez crotches Io.

Xyon Quinn makes his way to the ringside area and he sends Raul Mendoza into the plexiglass and he sends Wilde into the air.

Quinn has some mistletoe and he gets on the apron. Escobar pulls Quinn off the apron but Quinn sends Escobar into the ring steps.

Io with a forearm and a moonsault for the three count.

Winner: Io Shirai

Backstage: Carmelo Hayes

Carmelo Hayes says that he is the A Champion and I do not miss. I will keep it the same way in 2022. I will give you that match but I will be the one walking out with two titles.

Backstage: Brian Kendrick

Pete Dunne vs. Tony D’Angelo

Tony with a wrist lock and Dunne with a reversal and hammer lock. Dunne misses a boot to the hand. They lock up and D’Angelo with a wrist lock. Dunne with a reversal. D’Angelo gets to the ropes to force a break. D’Angelo punches Dunne. D’Angelo with a side head lock and Dunne misses a clothesline. D’Angelo with a belly-to-back suplex. D’Angelo with a kick. Dunne with a kick and chops. D’Angelo with a back body drop. Dunne with chos and a double wrist lock. D’Angelo with a German suplex. D’Angelo goes for a German suplex but Dunne lands on his feet. Dunne with a round kick to the head and a running boot to knock D’Angelo off the apron.

Dunne with a knee drop to the hand on the apron. D’Angelo pulls the hood off the announce table and Dunne returns to the ring. Dunne works on the fingers and shoulder. Dunne rubs the forearm across the ear. Dunne works on the shoulder. D”Angelo with a back elbow and knees to the ribs. Dunne with knees and he works on the fingers one more time. Dunne with a fist and elbow to the ribs. Dunne with a knee drop on the arm. Dunne with boots to the head and chops while holding on to the wrist. D’Angelo misses a clothesline but hits a double leg take down. D’Angelo with a splash into the corner. D’Angelo with a Northern Lights suplex and he floats over but Dunne grabs the fingers and applies a triangle.

D’Angelo with a one arm T-Bone suplex. D’Angelo with punches. D’Angelo with a front face lock suplex that sends Dunne into the turnbuckles. D’Angelo misses a shoulder and hits the turnbuckles. Dunne with a boot to the head and knee drop to the hand. Dunne with a running knee to the temple followed by a running kick for a near fall. Dunne with a kick to the chest and then he stomps on D’Angelo’s head. Dunne and D’Angelo exchange forearms. Dunne slaps D’Angelo and stomps on the hands and kicks D’Angelo. D’Angelo counters a suplex into a Falcon Arrow for a near fall. D’Angelo crawls to the corner and gets something from the steps.

D’Angelo tries to hit Dunne with the crowbar but Dunne blocks it and he applies a Fujiwara arm bar on D’Angelo and then Dunne pulls at the fingers. D’Angelo with a fish hook and he takes the mouthpiece and sends Dunne into the turnbuckles. D’Angelo goes for the fisherman’s suplex but Dunne pulls at the fingers and hits Bitter End for the three count.

Winner: Pete Dunne

After the match, Dunne stops D’Angelo from attacking him in the ring. Dunne sends D’Angelo to the floor. D’Angelo with a swinging fisherman’s buster on the floor. D’Angelo gets the crowbar and he chokes Dunne with it against the announce table. D’Angelo hits Dunne in the hand with the crowbar.
