News website Editorials24.com recently released their list revealing the overall prime time viewership averages and rankings for all television cable networks in the United States for the year 2021.
In regards to the criteria and data used for the list, it was stated that “The 2021 list is below, with viewer tallies in thousands (000). Nielsen counts anyone age 2 and older in its “total viewers” (P2+) data set. The numbers in this story are Calendar 2021 through Dec. 13, 2021.”
In regards to notable cable networks that featuring wrestling, AEW’s home network TNT was ranked #5 with 1,020,000 viewers as their prime time average for the year. AEW’s upcoming new home network TBS was ranked #6 with 998,000 viewers for comparisons. Post Wrestling’s John Pollock reported that AEW’s Dynamite averaged around 913,000 viewers and Rampage averaged around 517,000 viewers for their shows over the past six weeks on TNT.
WWE’s home network USA Network was ranked #11 with 764,000 viewers as their prime time average for this year. Pollock reported that WWE’s RAW averaged around 1,614,000 viewers and NXT averaged around 598,000 viewers for their shows over the past six weeks on the network.
VICE TV was ranked #82 with 74,000 viewers as their prime time average for this year. Pollock reported that VICE TV’s Dark Side of the Ring series averaged around 177,000 viewers for their third season on the network.
Impact Wrestling’s home network AXS TV was ranked #99 with 44,000 viewers as their prime time average for this year. Pollock reported that Impact Wrestling’s Impact! averaged around 93,000 viewers for their shows over the past six weeks on the network.
Major League Wrestling’s home network beIN Sport was ranked #124 with 3,000 viewers as their prime time average for this year.
