Show Notes – Opening Owens & Big E backstage segment about their recent issues was okay but Big E being more preoccupied rubbing cocoa butter on himself during it was a bit funny. Rollins promo trashing Owens & his habit of turning on friends was decent. 8-Man Tag was pretty good despite its dull ending. Pearce’s promo about Survivor Series & Dominik’s status on Team RAW felt very half-assed in terms of drama & build just like the original team announcements were. Gable’s vicious Dragon Screw to Big E in the corner was nice. Gable’s Chaos Theory to Big E was impressive & cool. Big E vs. Gable was a quite good match. Owens & R-Truth backstage segment about wacky things Truth believes in was funny. Pearce, Deville, & RAW Women’s locker room about Team RAW Women & the bickering over it afterwards was boring. Rey Mysterio botching his lines & Austin Theory’s photo shenanigans during Mysterio’s backstage medical room interview segment was a bit funny. 24/7 title match was nothing special but the post-match shenanigans with Graves & Saxton each winning the belt was funny. The lights briefly going out at the start of the Women’s 5-way match was weird. Women’s 5-Way match was decent at best despite its sluggish pacing & ending shenanigans by Doudrop. Rollins’ knees counter of Owens Senton splash to the outside was nice. Owens spiked DDT to Rollins was nice. Owens’ clothesline to Rollins bending him in half was cool. Rollins vs. Owens was a mostly good back-and-forth action match despite the first half pacing dragging a lot & lame countout shenanigans ending. Owens snapping & post-match attack on Big E was interesting. This week’s show was mostly dull & sluggish overall.

Show Notes – Rose’s spinebuster counter of Shirai’s attempted dive to the outside was sweet. Opening 6-Women Tag match was mostly good despite it falling apart near the end & flat ending. Dunne backstage interview about Tony D’Angelo and Trick Williams & Hayes interruption trashing Dunne was okay. MSK travel segment was goofy and not in a good way. Ray’s spiked DDT to Sarray from the corner was nice. Ray’s KLR Bomb to Sarray onto the announcer’s table was nice. Ray vs. Sarray was pretty good. The random creepy mood lights & music during the Gacy vs. Boa match was very corny. Gacy vs. Boa was going on decently until the cringey spooky DQ shenanigans happened. KUSHIDA’s & Jiro’s new entrance theme is somehow both really awful and good in an ironic way. Toxic Attraction parking lot interview about their Women’s gold & KLR was dull. Andre Chase University “mental toughness” lesson segment was a bit funny. Duke Hudson & Grimes promo segment about last week’s poker game stunk. Triple Threat match was decent at best. Hartwell, Pirotta, & D’Angelo backstage segment about D’Angelo’s dead fish gift warning for Lumis was all right. Ciampa promo about his NXT title reign & Breakker was fine. Lopez’s Blue Thunder finisher to Yan during their match looked very rough and/or botched. Xyon Quinn turning down Lopez’s invitation to join Legado was interesting & same for their love interest storyline. Hayes springboard clothesline to Dunne was nice. Dunne’s suplex counter of Hayes suplex onto the apron was nice. Hayes’ Codebreaker to Dunne sending him flying in the air was cool. Hayes busting out the Gargano Escape to Dunne was nice. Hayes vs. Dunne was a quite good back-and-forth action match. This week’s show was average overall.
Friday Night SmackDown (Nov. 12)

Show Notes – Opening Deville & Team SD Women promo intro & brawl with Naomi was decent but also WWE scrapping the well once again with the “Can they co-exist?” lazy booking for mashed up teams these days. Natalya’s snap suplex to Naomi via apron assist was nice. Natalya’s discus clothesline to Naomi bending in her half was cool. Aliyah managed to bust out some of the worst ever looking Lou Thesz Presses to Natayla. 6-Women Tag was a solid match despite dragging a bit long. Deville & Aliyah backstage segment about Aliyah getting abruptly kicked off Team SD was lame. Boogs’ twirling Gutwrench Powerbomb to Humberto was cool. Boogs & Nakamura vs. Los Lotharios was mostly solid. Pearce, Deville, & Zayn backstage office segment about Team SD Men issues was decent but Von Wagner’s surprise appearance was interesting. Charlotte Flair’s rambling promo about Becky Lynch & WWE Women’s division and Toni Storm interruption was somewhat awful & a waste of time. Hardy vs. Zayn was a pretty good back-and-forth style match. Hit Row taped backstage promo segment was corny. Jinder Mahal & Shanky backstage promo mocking Hit Row’s rapping was funny. Xia Li “coming soon” vignette was all right. Ridge Holland backstage interview about his praise of Sheamus & Cesaro’s advice was okay. Reigns’ entrances have reached Undertaker tier in regards to being ridiculously long. Reigns’ Uranage to Woods onto the announcer table was nice. Reigns’ catch & Urange counter of Woods’ top rope Flying Nothing was nice. Woods got some nice distance with his top rope elbow drop to Reigns. Reigns vs. Woods was a good back-and-forth action match despite the lame DQ ending by the Usos. This week’s show was average overall.

Show Notes – Excalibur & Mark Henry’s joke about Adams’ eerie resemblance to Tony Schiavone was funny. Hobbs vs. Adams opener was a decent squash style match. Butcher’s hard low crossbody to Taylor splatting him on the mat was nice. Yuta’s Release Germans to Blade & Butcher bending both in half was cool. Butcher & Blade vs. Best Friends was a pretty good back-and-forth action match, especially the latter half. Riho vs. Lynn was a mostly solid match. Hardy & Alexander pre-match promo about Hardy boasting about himself & demanding reverence for his name was decent at best. Ouch at Alexander’s back from his rough landing onto the steps after Hardy ramming his head onto the turnbuckle. Hardy vs. Alexander was a solid match. Sakura’s crossbody to Soho into the corner looked brutal. Women’s tag was a pretty good back-and-forth style match. Post-match brawl with Kris Statlander was all right. Max Caster’s pre-match rap mocking Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City, Dark Order, & President Biden was splendid. Evil Uno & Anthony Bowens back-and-forth shoulder tackles off the ropes comedic routine was a bit funny. Grayson’s Senton to Bowens on the apron was nice. Ouch at Grayson’s head after his hard landing onto the apron from Jeff Parker’s backdrop over the ropes. Dark Order’s moves combo destruction to Parker into The Fatality finisher was great. Dark Order vs. The Acclaimed & 2point0 was a very entertaining match. This week’s show was enjoyable overall.

Show Notes – Gunn Club vs. Dark Order opener was an entertaining match with some nice comedic moments. Comoroto’s clotheslines to Fuego 2 sending him spinning to the mat was nice. Factory vs. Too Fast Too Fuego was a pretty good back-and-forth action bout. Taz’s rendition of Best Friends theme after their match was a bit funny. Martin’s springboard rolling snapmmare to Kazarian was cool. Kazarian’s cutter to Martin via ropes assist was nice. Martin vs. Kazarian was a quite good action filled match despite the ending shenanigans by Lio Rush. Hayter’s backbreaker to Mizunami, Statlander’s Blue Thunder Bomb to Hayter, Rebel’s suplex into the turnbuckle, & Rosa’s dropkick and Thunder Diver finisher to Rebel sequence was cool. Women’s trios tag was a solid back-and-forth action match. 2point0 vs. Moriarty & Sydal was a pretty good back-and-forth action match. Hobbs’ clothesline to Angels splatting him on the mat was nice. Team Taz vs. Dark Order was pretty good. Marshall’s pre-match promo about his bad blood with Sting & talks with MJF was decent. Allin managed to get some sweet air with his springboard armdrag to Marshall. Marshall’s brutal clothesline to Allin bending him in half was cool. Allin’s shotgun drop kick to Marshall sending him flying out of the ring & tope suicida afterwards was nice. Marshall vs. Allin was a quite good back-and-forth action match. Taz’s rendition of Jungle Boy’s theme was funny. Ouch at Cassidy’s face after Jungle’s hard dropkick & same for his hand from Jungle accidentally stepping on it from his kip-up afterwards. HFO vs. Cage & Jurassic Express was an entertaining match. This week’s show was enjoyable overall despite its long length.

Worst – Bryan Danielson’s head after the scary looking fall by Rocky Romero onto him from the top rope and PAC’s back after crashing hard to the floor from his dive to Dax Harwood.
Show Notes – Romero’s top rope dropkick to Danielson on the ropes looked brutal. Yikes at Danielson’s head after Romero landed right on it from his crossbody counter of Danielson’s Superplex. Danielson’s foot stomps & Tequilla Sunrise finisher combo to Romero was nice. Danielson vs. Romero opener was a good hard hitting match. Lambert & Pals ambush attack to Inner Circle & boasting promo afterwards was wonderful. Women’s Trios tag match was pretty good. Statlander vs. Soho match hype video was splendid. Max Caster’s pre-match rap mocking Jungle was funny. Jungle Boy vs. Bowens was a really good back-and-forth action match. Bobby Fish’s ambush attack to Jungle was interesting. Page vs. Omega match hype video was great. SuperKliq & Fish backstage segment about Fish helping out Cole was splendid. Kingston vs. Punk match hype video was great. Wardlow’s powerbomb destruction of Yuta was awesome. Yuta vs. Wardlow was a fun squash match. Martin & Moriarty’s counters & grapple fest exchange was sweet. Rush’s corkscrew Unprettier to Moriarty looked brutal. Martin & Rush vs Moriarty & Sydal was a very good fast paced action packed bout. Miro’s promo about Danielson, god’s motives, AEW champ desires, & his wife was terrific. PAC’s Avalanche brainbuster to Harwood was brutally sweet. Harwood’s brainbuster to PAC was cool. Harwood’s stiff clothesline & rebound Liger Bomb combo to PAC was cool. Harwood vs. PAC was a fantastic hard fought action filled match. Post-match brawl with Black, Andrade, Cody, & Lucha Bros was superb. MJF vs. Allin match hype video was splendid. AEW title match contract signing & promo segment with Don Callis surprise return & Omega signing the contract in Hangman’s blood was excellent. This week’s Full Gear 2021 go-home show was amazing overall.

Danielson vs. Miro match hype video was splendid. SuperKliq & Hangman Page backstage segment about Page warning to the Young Bucks to not get involved in his AEW title match was superb. Cargill’s Jaded finisher counter of Garrett’s cartwheel elbow attempt was cool. Cargill vs. Garrett was a mostly decent squash bout. Post-match Cargill & Red Velvet brawl was all right. Punk vs. Kingston match hype video was great. Martin’s step-up hurricanrana to Daivari was cool. Daivari’s catch & leg yank counter of Martin’s springboard onto the turnbuckle looked brutal. Daivari’s hammerlock clothesline to Martn was nice. Martin got some sweet air with his springboard splash to Daivari. Martin vs. Daivari was a very good back-and-forth action packed match. Ricky Starks offering Martin an invitation to Team Taz was interesting. Conti vs. Baker match hype video was splendid. Hardy & Cassidy split-screen backstage pre-match interview was decent at best. Cassidy’s sunset flip to the heel lumberjacks on the outside via Best Friends launch assist was nice. Lumberjack match was a entertaining clusterf*ck despite the flat ending. This week’s Full Gear 2021 go-home show was very enjoyable overall.

Show Notes – Buy-In Women’s tag match was pretty good. MJF’s catch powerbomb counter of Allin’s Code Red was cool. MJF’s Tombstone pile driver to Allin on the apron was cool. Allin’s Coffin Drop to MJF on the outside was crazy. MJF vs. Allin opener was one of AEW’s best ever matches. Harwood & Penta’s Three Amigos exchange was sweet. Fenix’s leap off of Penta’s Package Driver to Harwood for a crossbody to Wheeler was awesome. AEW Tag title was a great action packed match despite the shenanigans ending. Miro’s fallaway slam counter of Danielson’s running dropkick was smooth. Miro & Danielson’s stiff kicks fest exchange was cool. Miro vs. Danielson was a great grueling physical battle. Cage’s crossbody off the balcony to Cutler & Young Bucks was crazy. Cole’s wheelbarrow suplex to Jungle on the apron looked brutal. Luchasaurus’ Electric Chair Drop to Cole & chokeslam to N. Jackson onto the ladder was sweet. SuperKliq vs. Cage & Jurassic Express was a terrific action packed hardcore match. El Idolo & Black vs. PAC & Rhodes was good. AEW Women’s title was mostly solid despite being off at times. Kingston’s Exploder Suplex to Punk was nice. Punk & Kingston slugfest exchange was cool. Kingston vs. Punk was a great hard hitting match. Guevara’s Senton to Sky off the ladder through a table was awesome. Santana’s setp-up flip to Page into the crowd was cool. Jericho’s stapler shot to Lambert’s nuts was funny. Minny Street Fight was a very entertaining action filled hardcore bout. Page’s horseback ride special entrance video was cool. Omega’s springboard Liger Bomb to Page was amazing. Omega’s Tiger Driver 98 to Page was sweet. Page’s Avalanche Blockbuster to Omega was cool. Page busting out the One Winged Angel to Omega was sweet. AEW World title was a terrific hard fought match & Page winning the belt was awesome. Full Gear 2021 was an amazing show overall.

NJPW XTRA (Nov. 8)

Show Notes – NJPW Showdown Night 1 show recap video was all right. NJPW Battle in the Valley card preview & hype rundown was also all right. Guess the ring crew forgot to tighten up the screws for the ring since its way too squeaky for the Ospreay vs. Zayne match. Ospreay & Zayne’s big boot to each other at the same time was nice. Ospreay’s jumping knee to Zayne’s head & neck on the apron was nice. Ospreay’s spinning backbreaker to Zayne was cool. Zayne’s discuss lariat to Ospreay bending him in half was nice. Ospreay landing on his feet from Zayne’s hurricanrana from the ropes was impressive. Zayne’s handspring hurricanrana to Ospreay from the ropes looked sloppy. Zayne’s Taco Diver counter of Ospreay’s Oscutter into Ospreay’s Hidden Blade counter finisher was great. Ospreay vs. Zayne was a very good back-and-forth action filled match. NJPW XTRA was an enjoyable quick show.

Show Notes – Oiwa vs. Nakashima opener was a solid Young Lions style showcase bout. BUSHI’s diving headscissors to DOUKI on the outside was cool. DOUKI’s moonsault to BUSHI on the outside was nice. BUSHI’s vicious looking Codebreaker to DOUKI was nice. DOUKI vs. BUSHI was a really good back-and-forth action filled match & but surprised DOUKI won. Ishimori vs. Kanemaru was a mostly good bout despite the flat countout ending. Eagles’ stiff chop to Taguchi on the outside was nice. Taguchi’s running one arm bulldog to Eagles spiking him on the head was cool. Taguchi’s Dodon finisher counter of Eagles’ Turbo Backpack was cool. Taguchi vs. Eagles was a very good hard fought action filled bout. Phantasmo’s cartwheel rebound landing of Wato’s hurricanrana was cool. Wato’s running headscissors to Phantasmo sending him flying to the outside was nice. Wato’s Bridging Jackknife pinfall counter of Phantasmo’s One Winged Angel was cool. Wato vs. El Phantasmo was a very good back-and-forth action packed match. YOH’s Slingshot Pescado & Plancha combo to Hiromu at the start of their match was cool. YOH & Hiromu’s superkicks exchange was nice. Hiromu’s running DVD to YOH into the corner was cool. YOH’s Dragon Suplex to Hiromu was nice. YOH vs. Takahashi was a very good fast paced action packed bout. Desperado’s hard knife edge chops set to SHO was nice. SHO’s Kimura Lock counter of Desperado’s bodyslam was nice. Desperdao’s Inverted Dragon Screw & Numero Dos combo to SHO was cool. SHO vs. Desperado was a mostly very good match despite the Bullet Club style shenanigans ending and dragging way too long. Best of the Super Juniors 2021 Night 1 was a very enjoyable show overall.

Show Notes – Zayne’s standing corkscrew splash to Daivari was cool. Daivari’s Full Nelson reverse DDT to Zayne was nice. Zayne’s running hurricanara to Daivari on the top rope was nice. Diavari’s hammerlock lariat to Zayne was cool. Zayne vs. Daivari opener was a pretty good back-and-forth action bout. Daivari’s post-match promo about his NJPW debut loss & his reason for being a heel and lack of success in WWE was all right. Limelight’s sunset flip counter of Rosser’s Crucifix Bomb was nice. Romero’s Slice Bread & suicide dive combo to Limelight on the outside was cool. Team Filthy vs. Rosser & Romero was a quite good back-and-forth action match & Rosser pinning Lawlor was interesting. Post-match Team Filthy ambush attack was all right. Rosser getting his hair cut as part of the attack was interesting. White & Yehi’s hard chops exchange was nice. Yehi’s German suplex, brainbuster, & Koji Clutch combo to White was sweet. White’s Half Nelson suplex into Bladerunner finisher to Yehi was nice. Yehi vs. White was a very good competitive action filled match. White’s post-match promo about everyone he’s beaten in the U.S., open challenge for his NEVER Openweight title, & bad blood with Ishii was wonderful. Dickinson & Suzuki’s stiff chops exchange was sweet and ouch at Suzuki’s bright red chest afterwards. Dickinson’s brainbuster to Suzuki was cool. Suzuki’s slap fest into a sleeper into a Gotch Style Piledrver finisher to Dickinson was cool. Dickinson vs. Suzuki was a very good physical battle. Suzuki’s post-match promo about Moxley was splendid. This week’s show was enjoyable overall despite its long runtime.

Show Notes – Bey’s step-up Senton & Phantasmo’s moonsault combo to Robinson was nice. Finlay’s chokebreaker & Robinson’s gutbuster to Phantasmo was nice. Bullet Club vs. FinJuice opener was a good back-and-forth action match. Post-match brawl with Good Bros & Hikuleo was fine. Brian Myers wrestling lesson segment about Myers loss to Beale & Zicky Dice winning a lot of money from the match was funny. Moose’s backstage interview about the challengers to his Impact title was splendid. Decay vs. Undead Bridesmaids was a solid match. Heath & Rhino backstage promo about Violent By Design & Rhino trying to purge his “poison” was all right. IInspirations’ backstage promo about Undead Bridesmaids failing to take out Decay was decent. Chris Sabin’s backstage promo about Ace Austin & match challenge was okay. Rayne vs. Martinez was a solid back-and-forth style match despite its flow/pacing being off at times. Post-match brawl with Mickie James was fine. Romero’s stiff slap & Satellite DDT combo to Raju was cool. Raju’s cutter to Romero via Irish Whip was nice. Raju’s jumping knee striker counter of Romero’s Tornado DDT into a Drive By running knee finisher was cool. Raju vs. Romero was a quite good competitive match, especially the latter half. Morrissey’s big boot to Cardona splatting him on the mat was nice. Morrissey’s double chokeslam to Cardona & Edwards was also nice. Cardona’s Codebreaker & Edwards’ Blue Thunder Bomb combo to Morrissey was cool. Tower of Doom spot was nice. Morrissey’s Black Hole Slam to Edwards was sweet. Three-Way was a very good hard hitting action filled match, especially the latter half. This week’s show was enjoyable overall.
