AEW drew 913,000 viewers and a 0.33 key demographic rating on TNT. AEW’s key demographic ranking for that night was 3rdplace.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the main reason AEW’s increase this week was due to their higher than usual female key demographic viewership. AEW’s gains with their female viewership reportedly were enough to top the NBA game that went head-to-head that night in both overall Females 18-49 and overall Females 12-34 groups. Meltzer reported that AEW’s female viewership skew was the highest for a Dynamite show in weeks at 33.3% for the audience gender split. Meltzer also reported that due to the recent changes for the time slot for the West Coast, this likely will be around the level for AEW’s viewership numbers for Dynamite shows until the move to TBS next year.
In terms of head-to-head competition, the NBA game of Detroit Pistons vs. Houston Rockets drew 977,000 viewers on ESPN and The Challenge drew 601,000 viewers on MTV.

In terms of yearly comparisons, AEW was up 19.5% in overall viewership and up 15.4% in key demographic viewership.
AEW Dynamite started off with around 906,000 viewers and their biggest gain of the night was the AEW World Championship contract signing segment with Kenny Omega, Hangman Adam Page, & Don Callis which gained 80,000 viewers. More on AEW Rampage Viewership for November 5th
The November 5th episode of AEW Rampage saw AEW suffer a sizable decline in overall viewership and a slight decline in both key demographic ratings and key demographic rankings.
AEW Rampage drew 599,000 viewers and a 0.22 key demographic rating on TNT. AEW’s key demographic ranking for that week’s show was 5th place.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the main reason for AEW’s decline that week was due to its much lower than usual younger key demographic viewership and Teenagers viewership groups, down 27.9% and 50% respectively. Due to this big drop in younger viewership, AEW’s Rampage show that week reportedly skewed much older than usual as a result.
In terms of head-to-head competition, the NBA game of New Orleans Pelicans vs. Golden State Warriors drew 1,603,000 viewers on ESPN and the College Football game of Virginia Tech Hokies vs. Boston College Eagles drew 1,215,000 viewers on ESPN 2.
