AEW & Bray Wyatt Talks Status Update

As noted before, Bray Wyatt, real name Windham Rotunda, was released by WWE this past July. While Wyatt is currently rumored to be possibly going to either Impact Wrestling or AEW as his next destination, AEW CEO Tony Khan had stated in a recent interview with the Moose & Maggie radio show that AEW has not held any talks with Wyatt since his WWE release.

The New York Post held a recent interview with Khan and one of the topics discussed included Khan revealing that he is currently interested in holding talks with Wyatt for a potential deal in AEW but only when the timing is right for both sides.

“Yeah. I really like Windham (Rotunda). I know him a little bit and I really enjoy him. The last time I saw him was at Chris Jericho’s birthday party and that was a long time ago. I like him as a person very much and he’s a really talented person. At the right time and place, sure I’d be interested to talk to him. I’m interested to talk to him in general because he’s a great person.”
