In-Ring: MVP, Bobby Lashley, Damian Priest
MVP wants to address what happened this past Saturday (MVP said it took place on Sunday) at SummerSlam. When Goldberg showed up here on Raw a few weeks ago, MVP and Bobby Lashley were shocked he would show up and challenge for the WWE Championship. We all know about Goldberg’s extraordinary history in WWE, but we also know about his recent, not-so-extraordinary history. What we do know is Goldberg is a WWE Hall of Famer and a powerhouse, so he’s a worthy competitor. What they didn’t know is he would show up with his son, Gage. Maybe Goldberg needed a confidence booster and moral support because he knew he’d be destroyed by the All Mighty. Goldberg showed up to SummerSlam and looked amazing. There were a few times when he literally backed the All Mighty up. Goldberg even scored a few two counts, but he only succeeded in making the All Mighty angry. The angrier he gets, the stronger he gets. Goldberg found that out the hard way. The All Mighty WWE Champion Bobby Lashley beat the holy hell out of Goldberg. In Goldberg’s career, a few men have beaten him, but only one man stopped him: Bobby Lashley. Goldberg didn’t have a leg to stand on and the man quit. That makes him a coward!
Lashley was declared the WWE Champion, but then someone attacked the All Mighty from behind like a coward. The All Mighty did what he would do to anyone that jumped in the ring and attacked him from behind. Lashley flipped him over his shoulder and applied the Hurt Lock. Lashley didn’t know who it was, but he’d do it to anyone in the crowd. MVP knows that won’t happen tonight because we’re in San Diego and they’re a bunch of cowards. If anyone thinks that the All Mighty WWE Champion Bobby Lashley owes Goldberg and his son an apology, Lashley says, “You can go to hell!”
WWE United States Champion Damian Priest makes his way to the ring. Priest says they’re both out here running their mouths calling Goldberg a coward because he got injured and couldn’t finish the match. MVP says Lashley hurt Goldberg. Priest doesn’t like that Lashley was making fun of the crowd. Priest isn’t jumping Lashley from behind and isn’t half his size. Priest is challenging Lashley to a match one-on-one here tonight. If Lashley doesn’t accept, he’s a coward.
Lashley attacks Priest and takes his jacket off. Priest fights back and big boots Lashley out of the ring. MVP says if that’s what Priest wants, he’s got it. Lashley is going to change and come back to whoop Priest’s behind.
