WWE’s second season of their ” The 50 Greatest” on the WWE Network and NBC’s Peacock featured the countdown of the 50 Greatest Tag Teams in WWE history. This second season was hosted by Breezango’s Tyler Breeze and Fandango.
The final and fifth episode featured the reveal of The New Day topping the list as WWE’s greatest tag team ever.
Following the episode’s airing, New Day’s Big E commented on Twitter about the honor of New Day being named as the greatest ever tag team by WWE.
I know many will disagree with the list but being named the greatest tag team of all time makes me reflect on our journey. I’m massively grateful for @TrueKofi & @AustinCreedWins. I’m thankful we bet on ourselves & were unafraid to pursue a path that felt right for us.
