Don West Comments on Fan Support for His Brain Cancer Battle
As noted before, former TNA/Impact Wrestling announcer Don West revealed last month that he is currently battling with brain lymphoma.
West recently provided an update on Twitter thanking everyone who has shown him support for his current bout with cancer.
I know that i am going through a tough deal but seeing all of your well wishes has boosted my spirit tremendously. Thank you to everyone for your support and your prayers and your kindness and I am going to beat this cancer so that I can go on the air again.

Tickets Sales Update for Notable Upcoming Events in the U.S.
Wrestlenomics and Twitter account WrestleTix recently compiled updated ticket sales data for upcoming events in the United States from notable wrestling promotions.
In regards to WWE, the July 19th RAW show in Dallas, Texas reportedly has sold around 6,663 tickets, which is around 81% of the venue capacity allowed for the event. WWE’s upcoming Money in the Bank 2021 event on July 18th in Forth Worth, Texas has sold around 9,658 tickets (97%). WWE’s first set of Supershow house show events have seen tickets sales of 5,540 for the July 24th event in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (75%), 5,540 for the July 25th event in Louisville, Kentucky (46%), 6,260 for the July 30th event in Minneapolis, Minnesota (79%), and 4,950 for the August 1st event in Detroit, Michigan (51%).
In regards to AEW, tonight’s Road Ranger show in Miami, Florida has sold around 3,192 tickets, which is around 68% of the venue capacity allowed for the event. AEW’s Fyter Fest Night 1 show on July 14th in Cedar Park, Texas has sold around 4,430 tickets while their Dynamite event on July 28th in Charlotte, North Carolina has sold around 4,341 tickets (83%).
In regards to Ring of Honor, the upcoming Best in the World 2021 event on July 11th in Baltimore, Maryland has sold around 413 tickets, which is around 64% of the venue capacity allowed for the event.
In regards to New Japan Pro Wrestling, the upcoming Resurgence event on August 14th in Los Angeles, California has sold around 1,581 tickets, which is around 81% of the venue capacity allowed for the event.

As noted before, Pro Wrestling Guerilla announced last month that they will be resuming events starting on August 1st. The company recently announced that their first event back will be called Mystery Vortex 7 and will take place at the Globe Theater in Los Angeles, California.
DEFY Wrestling announced that they will be resuming events starting on August 27th. This will be the first event for the company since February 2020 due to coronavirus pandemic related reasons.
Westside Xtreme Wrestling recently announced that they will be holding their 20th Anniversary event on August 7th at the Congress Center in Oberhausen, Germany.
Revolution Pro Wrestling announced that NJPW talent Shota Umino will be making his in-ring return for the company at their July 18th event in Bristol, England.
Ring of Honor recently announced two new matches for the card of their Best in the World 2021 event on July 11th in Baltimore, Maryland:
