Vince McMahon & Oliver Luck XFL Lawsuits Update

As noted before, Vince McMahon is currently involved in a lawsuit filed by former XFL Commissioner Oliver Luck in regards to claims of wrongful termination. McMahon filed a countersuit earlier this year alleging that Luck defied his orders on league personnel decisions and was derelict with his duties on the job.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that attorneys for Vince McMahon filed a 47-page legal document on March 26th to the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. This document reportedly attempted to portray Luck as someone attempting to mislead the presiding judge of the case, Judge Victor Bolden, on key aspects in his lawsuit.

Johnson reported that the bulk of the document involved McMahon’s claims that Luck “deceived” him on personnel decisions involving troubled players that McMahon did not want involved in the league. This document also reportedly included attempts to persuade Judge Bolen to deny Luck’s attorneys access to “privileged documents” which include important company emails. Luck’s attorneys currently believe that these emails would boost their argument that McMahon and other XFL officials were on board with the signing of Antonio Callaway despite his troubled past history.

New Japan Pro Wrestling recently announced the full card for tonight’s Road to New Japan Cup 2021 USA themed episode of NJPW Strong, which airs on New Japan World starting at 10PM EST.

Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling recently announced that they will be debuting a new English language wrestling series called That’s J-PW on April 12th. The company announced that each show will feature one empty arena match with English commentary by Chris Brookes and Baliyan Akki.

Former NXT developmental talent Rachael Ellering reportedly worked at Impact Wrestling’s recent set of television tapings in Nashville, Tennessee, according to Fightful Select.

The Tennessee State Senate issued an official resolution on April 1st honoring Knox County Mayor Glen Jacobs, known as Kane in WWE, for his induction into WWE’s Hall of Fame.

VxS Wrestling announced that Mike Tyson will be making an appearance for the company at their Lucid Dreams event on April 9th in Tampa, Florida.
