As noted before, the National Wrestling Alliance announced that they will be resuming airings of their weekly Powerrr series started on March 23rd. It was also announced that new episodes will no longer air on YouTube but instead FITE.TV as part of a new deal signed with the streaming service.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that terms of this new deal includes both the airings of weekly episodes of NWA Powerrr and four pay-per-view events to be produced yearly for FITE. Johnson also reported that all content produced for FITE will be exclusive to the service going forward.
Johnson also reported that the NWA will be resuming tapings in an empty arena setting and at their usual home location of the GPB Studios in Atlanta, Georgia.
The NWA reportedly had at least one other streaming platform interested in signing a deal with the company prior to the deal with FITE being made official. Johnson reported that this platform had previously featured professional wrestling on their service.
