John Silver suffered a shoulder injury in the main event TNT title match against Darby Allin on tonight’s AEW Dynamite.
Silver seemed to be legitimately favoring his right shoulder through a lot of the match, but fought through it and hit several spots that required a lot of arm and shoulder strength.
After the show went off the air, Darby Allin and Sting thanked the fans and Allin said, “John, I don’t think anybody here knows, I’m pretty sure you dislocated your shoulder about half way through that match. But God damn did you put everything into it! And I’d love to do it any time again. Thank you, John. Thank you.”

After Dynamite, Darby Allin said he was “pretty sure Silver dislocated his shoulder” during the match. Possibly happened here when Silver went over the barricade. pic.twitter.com/QFiiiI8dia

Silver gave an update after the show on Twitter, saying that his “shoulder is messed up,” but in possible good news, the “doctor doesn’t think it’s too serious.”
Came up short tonight. Shoulder is messed up. Doctor doesn’t think it’s too serious but I’ll keep everyone updated once I know.

His Dark Order comrade Anna Jay also unfortunately suffered a shoulder injury last month, which will keep her out of action for 6-12 months.
