Kip Sabian & Penelope Ford Reveal AEW’s Wedding Segment was Their Legit Wedding
TV Insider held a recent interview with Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford. One of the topics discussed included the couple revealing that last night’s wedding segment on AEW Dynamite was them getting legitimately married.
Kip Sabian – “We’re getting legitimately married. I obviously wanted my parents to be there, but they understand the situation. They’ll be able to watch from home.”
Penelope Ford – “My parents are having a watch party with my siblings.”
Sabian – “We could get married in our house and be just as happy. We’re people who just want to be married. Down the line, once COVID is hopefully eradicated and things are OK, we’ll have a celebration, party, housewarming combined where all our families can be there.”
Sabian – “We made a point for it to actually be a wedding and not a gimmick. We want to make sure it runs as smoothly as possible, and to make sure it’s different than what you expect. Fans will expect drama, shenanigans, and exploding cakes.”
Ford – “This is the happiest day of our lives, and that’s what we want from it.”
Jon Moxley Comments on His Current Status & Future Career Plans with NJPW
New Japan Pro Wrestling held a recent interview with Jon Moxley and one of the topics discussed included Moxley revealing his current status with the company and his future NJPW career plans.
“I made my intentions clear at Wrestle Kingdom. I’m still — all this craziness in the world aside in the last ten months — I’m still very much a part of New Japan Pro Wrestling and will continue to be for as long as I damn well please and as much as I damn well please. There ain’t anything that’s going to change that. There ain’t anybody that decides that aside from me. I’m still a part of New Japan and you’re going to have to beat me in the ring and your stupid briefcase, walking around, looking like an idiot. The briefcase is very ten years ago, I don’t know why we’re still doing that. It’s an embarrassment. Belts, shiny gold belts, that’s all that matters.”
