Arn Anderson Reveals He Had Recent Bout with COVID-19
Arn Anderson revealed during a recent episode of his ARN podcast show that he had a bout with COVID-19 several weeks ago. Anderson stated that while he took several tests and never tested positive for COVID itself, he did have COVID antibodies in his system and had suffered from the symptoms of the virus.
“As we know, this pandemic has not resolved itself and it’s not being resolved. There are thousands of issues and now there’s a different strain and issues distributing the vaccine and all the things out of our control. The last few weeks, I’ve found out a few things personally. I found out there’s such thing as a negative-positive test and a positive-negative test. You can have several tests in a row that are all negative, which I did, and overkill every single day. I got really sick a couple of weeks ago for about ten days. Thank God it was during the period we were off for AEW and I wasn’t exposed to anybody. I quarantined in my house. I know the symptoms vary by age group, but I got sick as hell and it scared me to death. I was in the bed for maybe a week. Couldn’t drink or eat anything, I was hallucinating and looking at my ceiling and saw ice forming on the ceiling. I had one day where I couldn’t catch my breath and it was a lot of things I had never experienced in my life and scared me to death. Guys, this thing is bad and is varies from person to person. We have not turned the corner on this getting better. If anything, we’re going into a peak season. I’m begging you, tell everyone you know to wear the mask and do social distancing. Take care of your health in general. If you don’t have to go somewhere, don’t go. The [test] I had this past Wednesday, I had the antibodies for having COVID, which meant that I had it, but at no point did I test positive. What was going on in my bedroom for a week was absolutely COVID. It was brutal and hard to deal with. You go days without water, a week without food.

Matt Cardona Impact Wrestling Status Update
As noted before, Matt Cardona made his official debut for Impact Wrestling at their Hard to Kill event earlier this month but is currently working for the company without a contract.
WrestleZone held a recent interview with Cardona and one of the topics discussed included Cardona confirming that he is currently not signed with Impact but the company does wants to see him work more before making any decision.
“So, I am not under a contract right now. We’re just seeing what happens, but so far, so good. I had a really good time this week. Whether it’s being in the locker room or being in the ring, I just really needed it. I needed to be in the ring—the Major Pod is awesome and it’s a creative outlet for sure—but I need to be designing gear or thinking about things for my matches. Wrestling is my first love and it’s something that I always grew up loving and being obsessed with. I had a pay-per-view debut and I wrestle on IMPACT this week, OK, so now I need more gear because I don’t like wearing the same gear over and over again. I’m already thinking for the future, and IMPACT definitely seems like my future for now.”
In a separate interview with the Left My Wallet podcast, Cardona revealed that he was contacted by Impact officials to work at their Hard to Kill event the day prior to the event itself.
“With IMPACT the other day, it was Friday, the show’s Saturday. I got a text while I’m in the gym, ‘Can you be here tomorrow?’ ‘Yeah sure. Ready to go.’ I hadn’t wrestled since fcking September. I haven’t even been in a ring, since September. But you know what? I say ‘always ready’, I better be ready to f*cking back it up.”
