In-Ring: Randy Orton, Alexa Bliss, Drew McIntyre, The Miz, John Morrison

WWE Champion Randy Orton makes his way to the ring and poses. Orton says eight days ago he became a 14-time world champion. Eight days ago, he proved he is the best of the best… but that doesn’t do him any justice. Orton isn’t the best of the best. He proved eight days ago that he is THE best… period. He is better than Edge, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, and Drew McIntyre. Orton is better than anyone in the locker room. People think he was handed things because he was born into the business. They think Triple H protected him and management chose him. All those stupid Superstars are mistaken. The reason he is in the position he’s in is because he is the best. Eight days ago, he showed the entire world he is no longer the Legend Killer. He is simply a legend.

With championship gold on his shoulder, it comes with great responsibility and a big bullseye on his back. Orton dares anyone in the locker room to come out and try to take the title from him. It doesn’t matter if it’s Drew McIntyre, The Miz, Roman Reigns, or The Fiend. He’s here. Come and get it.

Alexa Bliss’ music hits, and she walks out to the ring. Bliss smiles at Orton and holds up her gloved hands to her face. One glove says, “Play,” the other says, “Pain.” She holds up “Pain” and puts down “Play.” She says, “He could be here!” The high pitched screaming is heard, and Orton looks for The Fiend.

Orton then turns into a Claymore Kick from Drew McIntyre! McIntyre grabs the WWE Championship and looks at it. McIntyre says he wants his rematch and walks off.

The Miz and John Morrison run out to the ring. The Miz is looking to cash in the Money in the Bank contract on Orton. McIntyre runs down and knocks them out of the ring before the match starts. McIntyre says no one is taking gold from Orton except him.

Backstage: The Miz, John Morrison

Charly Caruso catches up with The Miz and John Morrison. The Miz is furious, but says he never actually cashed it in. Drew McIntyre is a petulant child. John Morrison challenges McIntyre to a 2-on-1 Handicap Match tonight.

“Ladies and gentlemen… Elias.” Elias strums a chord and greets the crowd. There comes a time in every man’s life when he has to speak the truth to himself. That happened a few months ago when Jeff Hardy tried to run him over after realizing Elias’ career is better. Elias’ album is #1 on the charts. In-Ring: AJ Styles, Team Raw

AJ Styles makes his way to the ring with Jordan Omogbehin. This past Friday Night, we learned that SmackDown isn’t playing around at Survivor Series. They’ve got Kevin Owens and Jey Uso. The next three will be just as talented, but Raw has the advantage. What advantage? In Styles’ opinion, SmackDown lacks someone with the intangibles to be a leader. Someone with the “IT” factor and can mold people to dominate. Someone like him. Styles shouts, “Captain Styles reporting for duty!” Styles says he has intangibles for days. His intangibles have intangibles. Why wouldn’t you want a captain of the best of the best to be the very best?

For his first order as Team Captain of Raw, he’ll get the rally cry going to boost morale. Styles introduces his team starting with Sheamus. Styles next introduces Keith Lee. They both come to the ring. Styles says they are the best of the best. Their success is his success. Styles doesn’t care who they have to go through on Team SmackDown. It doesn’t matter if it’s Jey Uso, Kevin Owens, Rey Mysterio, Dominik, or Angie… Lee cuts him off. Neither of them agreed to call Styles the captain. If Styles thinks his sizable friend is enough to intimidate him into it, he should think twice. Styles says to Sheamus that Lee’s inexperience is talking. Styles tells Sheamus to show Lee how it is. Sheamus says he agrees with the big fella. Sheamus has been here for a long time, but he’ll never call Styles captain.

Styles asks if they realize what it would mean to his career if they beat SmackDown. Braun Strowman comes out and says all Team Raw needs is his hands. Lee tells Strowman he’ll have to qualify just like them. Strowman says he has eliminated the most talent in a Survivor Series match and won. Two weeks ago, he also beat Lee clean in the ring. Not only is he qualified, his qualifications should have him be the team captain. Styles takes exception with that.

WWE Official Adam Pearce comes out to the stage and says no one is willing to face Strowman. Lee says he can’t let what he just said slide. Strowman did not beat him clean. Sheamus steps up and wants to face Strowman. Styles suggests a triple threat match. Pearce makes it official.
