Rusev Comments on Impact Wrestling Teasing His Debut at Slammiversary

While answering a recent fan question, Rusev discussed his thoughts on Impact Wrestling’s recent commercial for their upcoming Slammiversary event, which featured a Bulgarian flag and teasing his potential debut for the company.

“As I said, any Bulgarian can go and debut. They may have another kid from Bulgaria. I keep saying that. Could be anybody. Look, I don’t know why you think it’s me. I understand why you think it’s me, but I can’t confirm or deny. Or I don’t wanna confirm or deny. Maybe they wanna pay me a million dollars for one match. Who knows? Maybe I’ll come in.”

Independent Wrestling TV announced that they have recently signed a partnership deal with United Kingdom-based Riptide Wrestling.

Kotto Brazil reportedly is leaving Major League Wrestling, according to PWInsider. Mike Johnson reported that the reason for Brazil’s departure is due to both sides not being able to agree on terms for a new contract.

MLW reportedly has plans to use Pro Wrestling NOAH and Dragon Gate talent for their events in the future, according to PWInsider. Mike Johnson reported that MLW officials are currently waiting for the coronavirus pandemic to reach the point where its both safe to hold live events with crowds again and the US government moves forward with issuing work visas again and lifting travel restrictions.

Impact Wrestling announced that they have recently renewed their broadcasting deal with cable network MVStv for their Mexican television market.

Stardom announced that they will be resuming live events in Japan starting on June 21st in Shinkiba and with limited fan attendance allowed.
