WWE will have people making noise in the audience tonight on Raw for the first time since the coronavirus lock down.
NXT wrestlers and Performance Center signees will be in the crowd tonight on Raw, following the lead of AEW, which has had wrestlers in the audience for the past couple of months, helping to create a much more lively and easier-to-watch atmosphere in comparison to WWE’s incredibly quiet and sterile mood.
Tonight’s Raw is being taped right now at the Performance Center, a few hours before it airs. WWE will also tape another Raw tonight, which will air next week. Tomorrow, WWE will tape the next two weeks of SmackDown, and on Wednesday, WWE will tape two weeks of NXT episodes. There’s no word yet if wrestlers will also be in the crowd for NXT’s shows.
Fightful reported that several NXT wrestlers will be there, including Dominik Dijakovic, Chelsea Green, Shotzi Blackheart, and Jessamyn Duke.
The “audience members” were “screened” by medics this morning at an offsite location, Fightful says. There will also reportedly be hockey glass around the audience and they will be spaced six feet apart. They were also told to wear black pants and shoes and would be provided with a WWE t-shirt to wear.
