Cruiserweight Championship Tournament Match
Isaiah “Swerve” Scott (0-1) vs. El Hijo del Fantasma (1-0)
The bell rings, and they circle the ring before locking up. Fantasma rolls him up for a quick two count. Fantasma lets Scott know he almost had him. Fantasma takes him down and catches him with the La Magistral cradle for another two count. Fantasma taunts him, and Scott looks frustrated. Fantasma takes him down, but Scott takes him down as well. Scott hits a head-scissor takeover before kicking him and hitting a dropkick out of the ring. Scott goes to the apron and moonsaults off, but he lands on his feet when Fantasma moves. Fantasma floors him with a step-up enzuigiri. Fantasma gets Scott in the ring and kicks him. Fantasma chops the chest, but Scott puts him on the top rope. Scott takes a while to set up the spot and hits a springboard frankensteiner for a two count.
Scott punches away at Fantasma and applies a half nelson. Fantasma elbows out, slingshots over him, and hits a running hurricanrana. Fantasma goes for a baseball slide, but Scott moves and kicks him in the face.
We come back from the break to see Scott applying an arm bar. Fantasma fights up and drops him on the apron. Scott quickly goes to the top rope and hits a diving sunset flip, but Fantasma rolls through and hits a low dropkick. Fantasma hits some running knees in the corner and chops the chest. Fantasma puts him on the top rope and hits a frankensteiner. Fantasma hits a frog splash for a near fall.
Scott shoves him off, and they trade chops and forearms. Fantasma stuns him with some stiff chops, but Scott comes back with a straight punch. Scott twists the leg and hits a deadlift German Suplex. Fantasma quickly rolls out of the ring to recover. Scott goes for a Fosbury Flop, but he lands on his feet when Fantasma moves. Fantasma then gets in the ring and hits a suicide dive. Both get in the ring, and Fantasma lifts him. Scott counters out, and they tussle a bit before Scott pins him.
Winner by Pinfall: Isaiah “Swerve” Scott (1-1)
Scott says he has so much respect for Fantasma, but he needed this more than him. Scott will not be denied. When the game is on the line and they need the last shot, give the ball to him and he’ll get it done.
Segment: Dominik Dijakovic
Dominik Dijakovic is shown walking outside. Dijakovic talks about Johnny Gargano having no respect for the establishment that put him in a ton of TakeOvers. We’ll see if Gargano can back up his words against Dijakovic next week.

During the commercial, El Hijo del Fantasma was again attacked by the masked men at ringside. Fantasma fought them off, and they ran away.
Candice LeRae vs. Kacy Catanzaro
They lock up, and LeRae powers her to the corner before giving a clean break. LeRae tells her not to be scared. LeRae goes for a test of strength and powers Catanzaro back. Catanzaro gets out and hits LeRae with a head-scissor takeover. LeRae avoids an avalanche, hits a snapmare, and connects with a rolling neck snapper. Catanzaro comes back with a snap off the top rope and hits a springboard senton for a two count. Catanzaro hits a drop-toe-hold and goes for a splash, but LeRae gets the knees up.
LeRae hits a sidewalk slam for a near fall. LeRae quickly goes to the chin lock. Catanzaro fights up, but LeRae slams her down for a two count. Catanzaro goes for a wheelbarrow bulldog, but LeRae counters with a slam. LeRae slowly goes for a Gargano Escape, but Catanzaro counters into a roll-up for a two count. LeRae angrily takes her down and clubs away at her. LeRae hits a Wicked Stepsister (Curb Stomp) for the win!
Winner by Pinfall: Candice LeRae
Candice LeRae goes to walk off with her husband, but she angrily gets back in the ring and applies the Gargano Escape. Catanzaro taps out, and Gargano looks so proud.
Backstage: Damian Priest
Damian Priest says his time has arrived. He knows it must be hard for Keith Lee to take a deep breath. When the night is over, Lee will bask in the glory of the new North American Champion, Damian Priest.
On-Stage: Matt Riddle, Timothy Thatcher, Imperium
NXT Tag Team Champions Matt Riddle and Timothy Thatcher come out to the stage. Riddle says he and Pete Dunner were a real team, but they’re going to see how good a team he is with Thatcher on the Newly-Bros Show.
Byron Saxton comes out to host complete with campy theme song, over the top attitude, and laugh track playing. Saxton says Thatcher and Riddle have to guess each other’s answer to a question. Thatcher is asked what Riddle had for breakfast, and he has no idea. Riddle doesn’t know either, so that gets a point. They’re asked about TV shows and where’s the craziest place Thatcher has ever “done it” (wrestled). Both were answered correctly. Riddle says the universe has big things in store for them.
Before the speed round starts, Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel attack them from behind. Riddle is viciously slammed over the barricade, and Thatcher takes a double-team diving uppercut/powerbomb. Imperium stands tall.
Segment: Adam Cole
NXT Champion Adam Cole isn’t happy and says next week, per NXT General Manager William Regal, Velveteen Dream will get a title shot. Dream doesn’t deserve a shot at the title. Cole will show up, show out, and leave as the longest reigning NXT Champion of all time. The Dream will be over. There’s nothing the Velveteen Dream can do about it. That is undisputed.
Adam Cole defends the NXT Championship against Velveteen Dream next week on WWE NXT.
Mia Yim vs. Charlotte Flair
They lock up, and Flair powers her to the corner before giving a clean break. They lock up again, and Flair immediately hooks a side headlock. Yim fights up, but Flair knees her in the midsection and chops her down. Yim quickly sends her to the corner, but Flair rolls up and lands on the apron. Flair shoulders her and rolls her up for a two count. Yim avoids a big boot, punches and kicks Flair before taking her down with a snap kick. Yim hits a rolling cannonball in the corner before hitting Flair with a tornado DDT for a near fall. Flair quickly elbows her away and chops the chest. Flair clubs the back and sends her into the ropes, but Yim ties herself up in the ropes to taunt Flair. Yim sends Flair out of the ring and goes for a suicide dive, but Flair punches her back.
We come back from the break to see Flair attacking Yim and stretching her on the top rope. Flair chops the chest and chokes her with her boot. Flair soon goes for a back suplex, but Yim backflips through. Yim boots her back and applies a Tarantula on the ropes. Yim goes for a back suplex, but Flair grabs the hair and chops her down. Flair talks trash and peppers her with kicks. Flair boots her in the head and forearms her. Yim quickly fights back and hits Sole Food. Flair comes back with a quick slam into the turnbuckle and puts her down on the mat. Flair goes to the top rope, but Yim rips her off and rolls her up for a two count. Yim kicks away at the chest, but Flair quickly takes her down and hits a high angle Boston Crab. Yim twists out and rolls her up for a near fall.
Flair immediately big boots her down for a near fall. Flair goes for a Figure Four Leglock, but Yim counters with an inside cradle for a two count. Yim takes her down and goes for Protect Ya Neck, but Flair takes her down and applies the Figure Eight for the win.
Winner by Submission: Charlotte Flair
Flair celebrates while holding up the championship. All of a sudden, Io Shirai’s music hits, and she comes out to the stage. Shirai comes down and yells at Flair. Shirai says, “Next week, you are mine!”

Karrion Kross and Scarlett will appear on WWE NXT next week.
Footage is shown of Finn Bálor’s locker room looking disheveled and he was gone. Finn Bálor will return next week to call out his attacker.
Backstage: Kacy Catanzaro, Candice LeRae
Kacy Catanzaro is being tended to by medical backstage. Kayden Carter is with her. Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae walk up. LeRae says this is the new NXT and they better get used to it.
Dexter Lumis vs. Shane Thorne
The bell rings, and Thorne chops Lumis’ chest. Lumis does not look pleased. Lumis sends him into the ropes, hits a Lou Thesz Press, and punches away at him. Lumis throws him to the corner and punches him in the ribs. Thorne pulls Lumis into the corner and kicks him. Thorne forearms the back and goes for a tornado DDT, but Lumis throws him off. Lumis goes for a scoop slam, but Thorne rakes the eyes. Thorne forearms and uppercuts him before dropkicking him to the corner and hitting a running kick. Thorne follows up with a rolling cannonball. Thorne backs up and sizes him up before charging, but Lumis connects with a spinebuster. Lumis pulls at the hair and hits a sit-out uranage. Lumis applies the Kata Gatame. Thorne fights it, but he eventually fades away.

Segment: Jake Atlas, Drake Maverick
Footage is shown of Jake Atlas finding Drake Maverick in the parking lot after beating him last week. Atlas says he knows Maverick is great and hopes Maverick feels that way about himself.
Backstage: Keith Lee
NXT North American Champion Keith Lee, struggling to speak clearly from the nightstick to the throat last week, says Damian Priest will live in infamy when he takes the brutal beating coming to him.
Cruiserweight Championship Tournament Match
Tony Nese (0-1) vs. Drake Maverick (0-1)
They lock up, and Nese powers him down and poses. Nese says he’s the Premier Athlete and won’t be overpowered. Maverick goes at him, but Nese immediately clubs him down. Nese talks trash and says Maverick will have to do better than that. Nese powers Maverick to the corner and punches away at him before stomping him down in the corner. Nese hits a snapmare and kicks him in the spine. Maverick screams in pain. Nese scoop slams him and talks more trash. Maverick punches back at him, but Nese takes him down and snaps him off the top rope.
We come back from the break to see Nese applying a chin lock to Maverick. Maverick tries to fight up, but Nese viciously takes him down. Nese mocks Maverick for crying before and slaps him. Maverick gets fired up, so Nese throws him to the corner. Maverick gets pumped up and takes off his wrist guards. Maverick punches away at Nese and dropkicks him in the face. Nese quickly powers him to the top rope, but Maverick kicks him back and hits a missile dropkick. Maverick goes for a corner cutter, but Nese fights out and hits a German Suplex into the turnbuckles!
Nese chokes him in the corner and pulls the kneepad down. Maverick avoids a running knee in the corner and hits a corner cutter for a near fall! Maverick goes to the top rope for a diving elbow drop, but Nese moves. Nese goes to the top rope, but Maverick crotches him up there. Maverick hits a diving bulldog for the win!

Drake Maverick is asked about his victory. Maverick is so proud that he did it. Akira Tozawa is next. You can call him the Wolf of NXT because he’s not leaving. He loves this. He’s not leaving without the NXT Cruiserweight Championship.

Keith Lee (c) vs. Damian Priest
They lock up, and Lee hits the ropes and takes Priest down with a wild shoulder tackle. Priest fights back and springboards off the ropes, but Lee punches him. Priest quickly elbows him back, but Lee clotheslines him over the top rope. Lee goes to the outside and sends Priest over the barricade. Lee then presses Priest above his head and throws him over ringside to the apron! Wow!
Lee puts him in the ring, Priest quickly goes outside. Priest elbows him and goes to bounce him off the steps, but Lee puts the brakes on it. Lee goes for a spear, but he goes through the barricade when Priest moves.
We come back from the break to see Lee fight up from a chin lock. Priest avalanches him in the corner and goes for a suplex, but Lee fights it. Lee deadlifts him, but Priest fights out of that and hits a hangman’s neckbreaker for a near fall. Priest punches away at Lee on the mat and tries to drag him, but Lee won’t move. Priest lifts him up and tries for a suplex, but he can’t lift Lee. Lee fights out, but Priest claps the ears. Lee comes back with a Pounce into the corner.
Lee punches away at Priest before hitting a vicious spinebuster. Priest rolls out of the ring to recover, so Lee hits him with a corkscrew plancha! Lee puts Priest back in the ring and covers for a near fall.
Lee avalanches Priest in the corner before viciously clotheslining him down for a near fall. Lee goes for a Spirit Bomb, but Priest fights out and punches him. Priest grabs the throat, but Lee grabs back at Priest. Priest gets out of a Chokeslam and big boots Lee back. Priest strikes away at Lee and hits a wild Broken Arrow! Lee rolls out of the ring to recover. Priest dives over the top rope and takes Lee down at ringside! Lee falls through the barricade.
Priest gets Lee in the ring and goes to the top rope before hitting a diving cyclone kick for a near fall. Priest sizes Lee up, but Lee head-butts him down. Priest goes to the apron and kicks Lee back. Priest goes to the top rope, but Lee cuts him off. Lee hits a deadlift superplex for a near fall. Priest fights back at Lee and hits a chokeslam, but Lee kicks out. Priest is furious. Priest grabs the North American Championship and his nightstick. The referee doesn’t see the nightstick and takes the title. Lee blocks a nightstick shot and says he is limitless. Lee hits the Grizzly Magnum before hitting two Spirit Bombs for the win!
